Welcome to The Rising Woman.
Azita Abdollahian is many things. She is a mother, a refugee, a student, a business woman, an author and the story of a miracle. Her book ‘Breaking Free’ is her life story from when she married to a stranger at 17 years old with barely a high school education in post revolution Iran, lived under the extreme pressure of domestic violence yet she managed to become the woman she is today. Azita began the remarkable journey to becoming the independent and formidable woman she is today, half way across the world and she shares her story with us.
She is a true testament to the power of a woman. Azita has not only transformed her life and achieved the impossible, but has helped countless other people along her journey. She was told "no", she was told that her dreams were impossible. And with everything working against her, she rose to every challenge and she is here today to inspire other women to do the same.
She is the founder of the phoenix Centre, where she trains women to recreate,
to discover, and to reconnect with their inner power, she also is the founder of Shining Light Foundation helping the homeless, the most vulnerable members of our society.
She is a strong advocate of stopping domestic violence and for all the above reasons she received multiple awards, Citizen of the year Mayoral Commendation Award In 2018, women of the west in business category from western Sydney university 2019, Woman of the year Local 2019 and She also has been Nominated to receive WOMAN OF THE YEAR award in NSW 2019.
