I’ll also be talking with the nonprofit, MAKE THE ROAD CT, that ‘works to support immigrants in their communities and to lift themselves out of poverty, through legal and support services, civic engagement, transformative education and policy innovation.’

I’ll also welcome Harold Blackwell, the founder of a hydroponic (growing plants using mineral nutrient solutions, in water, without soil.) urban farm- Chestnut Hollow Farms- at 305 Knowlton Street Studios in Bridgeport.

Nicole Cassidy one of the founders of Black Rock PorchFest will be in the studio to talk about this 1st Annul event happening on August 20.
