Wranglerstar on Odysee

Update from Spokane. Officials have confirmed one of the three fires that started this disaster was arson — a 37-year-old man is in custody. Over 10,000 acres burned, 600+ structures destroyed, containment at just 13%. No confirmed deaths, but the fire is still burning.
After my last video, the response from you all was overwhelming — volunteers, contractors, equipment, and offers to help. This is where things stand: what we know, what we're planning, and how we're organizing a real response.
We're working to set up as a 501(c) nonprofit so any donations are fully transparent. In the meantime, if you're in the Spokane area, want to volunteer, or want to stay updated on what we're doing, email me directly and I'll add you to the list.

I've never seen a fire like this. 17 major wildfires are currently burning across Washington State — over 262,000 acres, nearly 65,000 people evacuated, hundreds of structures destroyed in Spokane County alone.
I spent years on the fire line with multiple agencies.. This is my honest take on what's actually happening — what the coverage is getting right, what it's missing, and what this looks like from someone who's actually fought fires like this.
My thoughts are with everyone affected. If you're in the affected area, please follow official evacuation orders and stay safe.

18 months ago, I flew to Mexico for extensive dental work I'd been avoiding for over 20 years. I didn't know it at the time, but that trip ended up being the actual starting point for everything that came after — the weight loss, getting my health back, all of it.
This is my honest experience: why I chose Mexico over $60-80K in US dental costs, the moment I almost backed out, how I ended up somewhere completely different than where I originally booked, and where things stand 18 months later.
Not sponsored. Just my own experience, for anyone who's been putting this off the same way I did.

I've built four adventure vans over the years — from Club Wagons to a full four-wheel-drive Ford Transit conversion. This one, the Winnebago Solus, is the first pre-built van I've owned, and it's the best use of space I've ever had. Nothing else comes close.
Full walkthrough of the layout, the pop-top sleeping arrangement, the kitchen, storage, and everything I've learned after a year of heavy use. Then I break down exactly how I outfit it — retrieval gear, medical kits, communications, and how I handle security when we're deep in the backcountry with no cell coverage.

At 57, I decided the version of myself I'd been living as wasn't good enough anymore — physically, financially, and in ways I'd never told anyone. This channel is the documented rebuild.
I left the house at 2 a.m. for my first solo summit attempt. My fitness was ready — 50 pounds down, 14 months of daily walking finally put to the test. My gear wasn't. This is the full climb: the steep icy glacier crossing that had me genuinely scared, the moment I realized my "waterproof" boots weren't, hours with soaked feet at altitude, watching another climber go down hard right in front of me, and the promise I made my daughter before I ever left the driveway.
I made it. But I made a mistake up there that could have gone a lot worse than it did.

At 57, I decided the version of myself I'd been living as wasn't good enough anymore — physically, financially, and in ways I'd never told anyone. This channel is the documented rebuild.
I've lost over 50 pounds in the last 14 months, walking six miles every single morning regardless of weather. In 48 hours, I'm attempting a solo summit — no team, no guide, just me and everything I can carry on my back.
This is the full gear breakdown: footwear and microspikes for a 2 a.m. glacier crossing, layering for a 97°F valley that turns brutal near the summit, the survival and medical kit I never climb without, water and filtration for a five-liter carry, and the ice axe that's been with me for over a decade. I haven't done a climb like this in over ten years. I'm about to find out if the last 14 months actually meant something.
Part two, the actual attempt, is coming soon.

This one's different — it's not about me, it's about a mistake I almost made with my 8-year-old daughter.
She wants to race motocross. And I caught myself doing exactly what a father I once knew did to his daughter's love of archery — piling on gear, pressure, and expectations until the joy was gone. This is a story about the difference between supporting your kid and slowly taking over the thing they love. Why "helping" too much can quietly kill a child's passion. And what I'm doing instead.
If you're a parent, a coach, a grandparent, or someone who grew up with a father who couldn't just let you enjoy something — this one's for you.
