Molly says across the United States older Americans represent a rapidly growing population and are taking part in activities that promote wellness and social connection, she says the future of older Americans is brighter than ever before Molly says today, receiving care in one's own home is increasingly more common and accessible. She says engaging in new healthy living and exercise programs through local senior centers is on the rise. Older Americans Month has been observed for 55 years to recognize older Americans and their contributions to their communities. Molly says today aging is about eliminating outdated perceptions and living the way that suits them best.
