Rev. Donald Perryman, Ph.D. - ‘Sojourner’s Truth’ Contributing Writer
In a recent edition of Fletcher Word’s Sojourner’s Truth newspaper, the Reverend Donald Perryman, Ph.D., submitted an opinion piece entitled “Listening through the cracks: Potential Moves in Toledo Politics”. It caught my attention because of the “tea leaves” he was reading when it came to candidates and positions on Toledo City Council and in Lucas County government. He pretty much called the Katie Moline move to Lucas County Auditor before it happened this week - leaving two vacancies on Toledo City Council. We’ll talk with Perryman about the current climate in Toledo politics - and why NOW that we have the final act in the city council “pay-to-play” scandal - how the city council and its politics moves on.
