On a quick trip back to the mountain state Anoa managed to catch a rally led by organizers and activists pushing for fully funded benefits through PEIA. Last spring we were captivated by the teacher led movement fighting back against the careless disregard of many who sit under the gold dome. This fight has continued and will continue through November. Teachers and other public employees have already proven their power and are not letting the momentum die down. Anoa also managed to catch State Senator Richard Ojeda, who is now running for Congress in the 3rd District. Senator Ojeda is not one to mince words and focused on making sure all West Virginians know they have the power to stand up and demand better. People powered movements are a beautiful thing!
