It's time to dive back into the 1990s as the second season of X-Men '97 kicks off with a three parter picking up after last season's time-traveling cliffhanger. Some of the X-Men are in a distant future where Apocalypse has taken over the world, some are in the distant past where Apocalypse is having his origin, and some of them are in the present and getting grim n' gritty with Apocalypse's horsemen. Can this season match the excellence of the first, especially with one of the main creatives gone?
