Trump-Appointed Judge Lifts Biden’s Pause On New Natural Gas Export
A federal court lifted the Biden administration’s pause on approvals for new natural gas export terminals on Monday.
Judge James Cain Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, who was appointed to his post by former President Donald Trump, ruled to grant an injunction against the administration’s January pause on approvals for liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminals while ongoing litigation plays out. The LNG pause stands as one of President Joe Biden’s most aggressive climate decisions through his first term in office.
Cain’s ruling was issued as part of an ongoing lawsuit brought by a coalition of red states against the federal government for the pause. The White House ordered the Department of Energy (DOE) to pause new approvals for LNG export terminals to countries with which the U.S. does not have a free trade deal while the DOE examines the climate impacts of new export capacity alongside economic and security considerations.

John Deere to Execute Big Layoffs in Two States as Company Plans Shift to Mexico
John Deere is prepping for more big layoffs in two states that will leave 610 staffers without their jobs on August 30.
The company made the announcement on Friday and said those affected will be 280 employees at a plant in East Moline, Illinois, and 230 employees at a factory in Davenport, Iowa, Fox Business reported Saturday.
In March, Breitbart News reported that about 150 workers at the John Deere Des Moines Works in Ankeny, Iowa, were moving closer to being laid off in the months of April and May.
“Earlier this month, Deere announced it is moving the manufacturing of skid steer loaders and compact track loaders from its Dubuque facility to Mexico by the end of 2026,” the report said.

Oakland Corruption Scandal: Democrat Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao and Government Officials Allegedly Funded by Sex Trafficking Drug Ring

The focus of the investigation is on David Duong, CEO of California Waste Solutions, and his son, Andy Duong. Both have deep-seated ties to Democratic politicians and businesses, NBC Bay Area reported.

Their business dealings and political connections are under intense scrutiny following evidence that suggests they orchestrated a complex scheme to circumvent campaign finance laws and funnel illegal donations to various Democratic candidates.
    The Mercury News reported:

Charlie Ngo, an alleged “straw donor” on behalf of the Duong family, made large deposits just before or after writing his checks for campaign contributions. Despite his bank account showing insufficient funds, he made significant donations to multiple candidates.
According to the FPPC’s filing, Ngo did not have enough money in his bank account to make the contributions he made. For example, he gave $700 to Friends of Desley Brooks even though he only had $49.58 in his bank account; $700 to re-elect Oakland Councilman Larry Reid in 2016 despite having only $2.14 to his name and donated $800 again to Brooks, the former Oakland councilwoman in 2018 despite having $5.32.
Each time, “he made a large deposit just before or after writing his check,” city investigators said in court records. He is also listed in campaign documents as giving $700 to Oakland Councilmember Rebecca Kaplan in 2016, $700 to Oakland council candidate Viola Gonzales in 2016, $600 to San Jose Councilmember Tam Nguyen in 2017, and $250 to the campaign of Milpitas Councilmember Anthony Phan in 2016.
In all, Mayor Thao, then a councilmember, received $2,400 from people associated with the cafe,

Federal Reserve's preferred inflation gauge shows price pressures easing further
A measure of prices that is closely tracked by the Federal Reserve suggests that inflation pressures in the U.S. economy are continuing to ease.
Friday's Commerce Department report showed that consumer prices were flat from April to May, the mildest such performance in more than four years. Measured from a year earlier, prices rose 2.6% last month, slightly less than in April.
Excluding volatile food and energy prices, so-called core inflation rose 0.1% from April to May and 2.6% from 12 months earlier. Both figures were slight improvements on the previous month's data.
Rate cuts by the Fed, which most economists think could start in September, would lead eventually to lower borrowing rates for consumers and businesses.

BREAKING: Chevron is Gone — SCOTUS Rules Unelected Bureaucrats Do Not Have the Power to Create Laws
In a landmark decision, the Supreme Court has overturned the long-standing Chevron doctrine, fundamentally altering the balance of power between the judiciary and federal agencies.
The ruling, which came in the case of Loper Bright Enterprises et al. v. Raimondo, Secretary of Commerce, et al., marks a significant shift in the balance of power between the branches of government.
The Chevron doctrine, established in the 1984 case Chevron U.S.A. Inc. v. Natural Resources Defense Council, has long been a source of contention. It granted deference to federal agencies in interpreting ambiguous statutes, effectively allowing unelected bureaucrats to make laws through their regulatory actions.
However, by a 6-3 majority, the SCOTUS has now declared that such power is unconstitutional and goes against the principles of democratic governance.
“Justice Neil Gorsuch, the son of a former Environmental Protection Agency administrator, wrote separately to call Chevron Deference “a grave anom...

26 States Sue Biden Admin Over Rule Pushing EVs On Americans
A 26-state coalition is suing the Biden administration over a new rule that increases the average fuel economy of passenger cars and light trucks.
The states filed a legal challenge in the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals against the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to block the agency’s new fuel economy requirements for passenger cars and light trucks, which the agency finalized on June 7. Provided it withstands legal challenges, the rule will require auto manufacturers to adhere to an industry-wide fleet average of approximately 50.4 miles per gallon for passenger cars and light trucks by 2031 – a move that, critics say, would force car companies to drastically increase the share of their fleets that are electric vehicles (EVs), and, in turn, would negatively impact consumer pocketbooks and American energy independence.

“Congress did not give the NHTSA such power to reshape an industry that would ultimately affect the pocketbooks of consumers— this rule is legally flawed and unrealistic,” West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey said in a press release announcing the legal challenge on Wednesday. “This will undoubtedly cause the United States to be dependent on other nations like China for our energy needs and will undermine American energy security by increasing demand and straining power grids.”

We’ve been accidentally cooling the planet — and it’s about to stop
It is widely accepted that humans have been heating up the planet for over a century by burning coal, oil and gas. Earth has already warmed by almost 1.2 degrees Celsius (2.2 degrees Fahrenheit) since preindustrial times, and the planet is poised to race past the hoped-for limit of 1.5 degrees Celsius of warming.
But fewer people know that burning fossil fuels doesn’t just cause global warming - it also causes global cooling. It is one of the great ironies of climate change that air pollution, which has killed tens of millions, has also curbed some of the worst effects of a warming planet.
    Source: yahoo.com
So we have created global warming and cooling at the same time. Why did they have to change the narrative its because the earth is in cooling phase. So what they are saying warming and cooling at the same time means the temp is perfect.

The restaurant chain, known for its attractive and scantily dressed waitresses, will close stores in Florida, Kentucky, Rhode Island, Texas, and Virginia.
Meanwhile, a recent survey by Lending Tree found that having once been an affordable alternative for lower-income workers, nearly 80 percent of Americans now consider fast food to be a “luxury item.”

Meanwhile, consumer sentiment has decreased for a 3rd straight month to its lowest level since November 2023. Inflation is taking its toll on consumers.

Gaetz unveils bill allowing bitcoin tax payments
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) introduced a bill  that would allow Americans to pay their federal income tax in bitcoin.
Gaetz said the radical move would “promote innovation, increase efficiency, and offer more flexibility to American citizens.”
“This is a bold step toward a future where digital currencies play a vital role in our financial system, ensuring that the U.S. remains at the forefront of technological advancement,” he said in a statement.
The congressman cited his recent visit to El Salvador — which in 2021 became the first country to allow bitcoin as a legal currency — as the inspiration for the bill.
Colorado was the first government to approve cryptocurrency payments for taxes in 2022. Utah, New Jersey and Kentucky have also made moves toward approving the payment.

Homelessness in Chicago Has TRIPLED Since 2023 as Illegal Aliens Flood City’s Shelters
Homelessness in Chicago has tripled over the past year as illegal aliens continue to arrive in the city in overwhelming numbers.
According to the latest study conducted by the federal government, the number of homeless people out on the streets has risen by a staggering 200 percent since early 2023.
    The Center Square reports:
Migrants who have taken advantage of the Biden regime’s open border policy are typically bused to Chicago or other major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, and Denver.
However, Illinois remains one of the most popular destinations, with authorities spending a staggering $1 billion worth of taxpayers’ money on providing the illegal aliens with free shelter, healthcare, food, education, and various other costs.

to Redfin. The decline has been driven by rising prices, high mortgage rates, and low inventory. To put this in perspective, the average second-home was worth $475,000 in 2023, versus a primary home price of $375,000. Even wealthy Americans are finding the housing market to be too expensive.

US Taxpayers Hit With Record Penalties in FY2
The government has become desperate for funding, seeking out money from their own citizens through taxation. Not only have they raised taxes for every bracket, but the IRS managed to squeeze more money out of Americans through audits for fiscal year 2023 than any year on record. In fact, the IRS shook down Americans for an additional $7 billion in tax penalties alone – a 300% increase from FY22.
. Biden claimed he would target the hated “rich” but reports have found that the majority of those targeted were gig economy workers and freelancers. Biden has done everything in his power to kill the gig economy. The IRS hates the gig economy because they believe those workers are stealing from Uncle Sam.
The average penalty for underestimating taxes was around $150 in 2022. This year, the average penalty was around $500.
The IRS also ramped up its campaign to fine anyone who missed the tax deadline. Late payment fees increased to $485 or 100% of the tax owed if that amount is less. Then there is the question of “How much do I owe?” The tax system in the US is so complex that there are careers dedicated toward figuring out that predicament. Every citizen and business would prefer if the government simply told them how much they needed to pay. Instead, they deliberately make the tax code vague in order to penalize everyone and anyone.
The penalty for underpayment rose in the past year from 3% to 8%.

Canada Set To Follow US, EU Lead On Hiking Tariffs On Chinese-Made EVs
First it was the EU and the US, now it looks like Canada could be next to weigh tariffs on Chinese made electric vehicles.
Justin Trudeau's government is considering new tariffs on Chinese-made electric vehicles to align with US and EU actions, according to a new report this week by Bloomberg.
Bloomberg reported that Trudeau faces growing pressure to follow President Biden's lead, who in May announced plans to nearly quadruple tariffs on Chinese-made EVs to 102.5%.
Both the US and the EU are worried about China flooding the market with cheap supply of EVs and undermining their domestic industries, with seasoned Chinese EV companies like BYD now aggressively entering global markets.
