Existing Home Sales Fall Amid Skyrocketing Prices and High Mortgage Rates

Sales of previously owned homes in the United States fell sharply in April, as prospective buyers grappled with a prohibitively expensive housing market.

The National Association of Realtors (NAR) reported on Wednesday that home sales fell by 1.9 percent in April, reaching an annualized rate of 4.14 million units. This figure, which represents the number of homes that would be sold over a year if the monthly sales pace remained consistent, fell short of Wall Street’s expectations. Analysts had predicted a slightly higher rate of 4.21 million units.

Year-over-year, home sales have also dropped by 1.9 percent compared to April 2023.

Donald Trump: Bidenflation Result of Biden’s War on American Energy

President Joe Biden’s war on American energy has caused costs to soar, former President Donald Trump told reporters Tuesday.

Biden drove up the cost of energy via regulations, executive orders, and other means, causing more reliance on foreign energy.

On Biden’s first day in office, he canceled the completion of the Keystone XL Pipeline. He suspended oil and gas leases in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and in New Mexico. Biden’s EPA restricted domestic energy production. In March, the Biden administration began blocking new exports of liquid natural gas.

Vast Majority Of Americans Had Their Pocketbooks Devastated By Inflation In 2023, Study Finds

Persistently high inflation led a large number of Americans to say that it had made them worse off in 2023, according to a survey conducted by the Federal Reserve.

Around 65% of Americans surveyed said that inflation had made their financial situation worse in 2023, while only 31% said that it had little to no effect, according to the Fed.

Newsom unveiled his budget proposal on May 10, and the tax policy details the following week. The proposal would, for the next three years, bar businesses earning $1 million or more from deducting operating losses from their taxes while also limiting business tax credits. The provisions are projected to cost California businesses about $18 billion through 2027, although they wouldn’t take effect if tax collections beat expectations. Such a scenario appears unlikely, however, given that California’s tax revenues are massively down thanks to a stagnating economy and exodus of both high-earning residents and businesses.

Now, while Newsom was making promises not to increase taxes (California already has the highest state income tax in the nation), he was spending billions—so it should have been known at the outset that his promises were empty, because from where else would the cash to cover the nearly seventy-billion-dollar deficit come?

New report: California ranks ‘dead last’ in ‘opportunity’ 

According to Kenneth Schrupp at The Center Square, a new analysis from the U.S. News and World Report agency found that California ranked “dead last” among the 50 states when it comes time to “opportunity.”

What could have possibly indicated that California wasn’t the friendliest location for anyone wanting to build a life of prosperity and freedom?

Was it the state’s nearly seventy-billion-dollar deficit?

Was it the mass exodus that has seen hundreds of thousands of people flee the state for friendlier locales, a trend which has resulted in a net negative for legal population and hit the tax-happy state where it hurts, i.e. fleeing revenues?

Was it the flight of more than 350 big businesses, a handful of which were Fortune 1,000 companies  like Tesla, HP Enterprise, and Oracle? F

Was it the influx of millions of third world migrants who came for welfare?

Was it the news that the government would be handing out $1,200 per month to transvestites/transsexuals simply because of their mental illness? (A person could stay on that  program for up to 18 months, which would yield a $21,600 handout.)

Was it the news that the government would be handing out “free” beer and vodka shots to homeless drunks at the expense of the taxpayer?

Biden is continuing with his narrative that the economy is doing fine and inflation is moving in the right direction, the people see something else. Gold is now moving up and this means that a rate cut is coming. First we had end the fed, now the anti-CBDC bill is up for a vote. Pieces are in place. Biden Says Inflation Is Moving In The Right Direction. The Numbers Paint A Different Picture

President Joe Biden has repeatedly touted that the pace of inflation is slowly trending in the right direction, but recent data has led experts to cast doubt on that claim.

“There’s nothing in the data that says we are trending towards 2%,” E.J. Antoni, a research fellow at the Heritage Foundation’s Grover M. Hermann Center for the Federal Budget, told the DCNF. “The people saying that are engaged in little more than wishful thinking and political punditry, not empirical analysis. To have an annual inflation rate of 2%, you need to have monthly inflation rates between 0.1% and 0.2%. Instead, we have consistently averaged higher than that since June 2022. We have been trending towards an annual inflation rate in the low 3’s and have arrived there, with no indication we are going significantly lower anytime soon.

  Alabama Governor Kay Ivey today signed a bill that removes all income taxes on capital gains from the sale of gold and silver, enabling the state to take an important step forward in reinforcing sound money principles.

With this move, Alabama joins a growing number of states prioritizing the protection of citizens against the deleterious effects of inflation, currency debasement, and mounting federal debt.

Enactment of Senate Bill 297 makes Alabama the 13th state in the nation that does not impose capital gains taxes on sales of gold and silver.

Joe Biden’s ‘Made in China’ Inflation Reduction Act Gives Billions to China, Cuts Medicare, Kills American Jobs

When Donald Trump released a video where he said, “Biden’s pro-China economic program puts America last, and it’s killing our country,” the mainstream media recruited his establishment apologists to fact check Trump and claim it isn‘t true that Biden is giving away the store to China’s dictator Xi Jinping.

  Biden is giving away billions to China and killing American jobs.

One of the worst instances of this is Biden’s signature domestic “achievement,” the so-called Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). Not only has this done nothing to stop inflation, it’s also proving to be a giveaway to the Chinese Communist Party. While China is building military bases on our doorstep, Joe Biden—instead of proving he’s merely asleep at the wheel—has invited Xi Jinping inside and asked him to drive.

Just this week, Manchin slammed the IRA’s Clean Vehicle Credit, which was ostensibly intended to provide tax relief to American companies that manufacture car batteries and electric vehicles. Instead, China is co-opting American companies and sucking billions in green scam tax credits. The IRA doesn’t stop China’s government-owned green energy industry from setting up pop-up shops in America to qualify for tax credits, while importing everything from China. So, they’re stealing tax credits that could go to American companies. It’s proving that the IRA had nothing to do with curbing inflation. Was it the Green New Deal in disguise—or maybe the Red New Deal?

This is why Manchin this week said that the administration is effectively endorsing “Made in China.”

And Biden’s IRA is paying for all these giveaways to China by slashing Medicare for seniors.

The IRA will sharply cut the popular Medicare drug-coverage plan; a total of $30 billion will be cut from a program currently totaled at $110 billion.

This will kick in in 2025 — so it is either out of the way if Biden wins or can be blamed on Trump if Biden loses.
