Regulators seized Philadelphia-based Republic First Bancorp on Friday.
“Republic First operated branches in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York under the name Republic Bank. It had around $6 billion in total assets at the end of 2023.” – The Wall Street Journal reported.
This is the fourth bank failure since last March on Joe Biden’s watch.
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) was appointed as receiver by Pennsylvania state regulators and immediately entered into an agreement with Fulton Bank to assume assets and deposits of Republic First Bancorp.

Federal Judge Finds Pennsylvania Law Barring 18-20 Year-Olds from Concealed Carry Unconstitutional
U.S. District Court judge William S. Stickman decided this week against Pennsylvania’s prohibition on 18-20- year-olds securing a concealed carry permit in order to be armed on their persons for self-defense.
The lawsuit–Lara v. Evanchick–was brought by the Second Amendment Foundation, Firearms Policy Coalition, and three private citizens, including Madison M. Lara, after whom the case is named.
Section 6109(b) of Pennsylvania’s concealed carry law states that persons 21 and older may apply for a carry license. Plaintiffs’ attorneys noted that Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Robert Evanchick’s “active enforcement” of Section 6109(b) for permit issuance means law-abiding 18 to 20-year-olds are unable to carry for self-defense.
Now 18-20-year-olds in Pennsylvania may apply for License to Carry Firearms and the state’s draconian transportation laws have been enjoined from enforcement. This is a victory for Second Amendment rights in PA.”

Blinken Threatens China Over Russia Ties, Warns Xi Against “Downward Spiral” In Relations With US
Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing, which brought to a close the US top diplomat’s three day visit to China.
Blinken warned the Chinese leader of another potential “downward spiral” in relations and the two sides agreed this should be avoided, however, there were plenty of not so subtle barbs, warnings and threats exchanged.
Blinken threatened punitive against on China if it continues to give support to Russia amid the Ukraine onslaught…
This alleged support to Russia’s defense industry additionally constitutes a “medium to long-term threat that many Europeans feel viscerally that Russia poses to them,” Blinken continued.
He warned that the Biden administration is ready to introduce more sanctions against China if dual-use goods and technologies continue to be sent to Russia, including things previously listed such as: semiconductors, machine tools, chemical precursors, ball bearings, and optical systems.
As expected, China’s foreign ministry hit back at the commentary and accusations, saying Blinken is “unreasonably criticizing the normal trade and economic relations between Russia and China” –

Khymani James finally faced the consequences of his actions on Friday after multiple reports revealed that he had been expelled from Columbia University.
As RedState reported, videos of the self-proclaimed revolutionary who leads the pro-Hamas “encampment” on campus showed him calling for Jews to be exterminated. In his disturbing rantings, James claimed that “Zionists don’t deserve to live” and said they should be exterminated like “nazis.” Around 95 percent of Jews support the existence of a Jewish state, making them “Zionists.”
It is a good thing that this maniac has been expelled, but there are serious reasons to doubt that Columbia did this for any other reason than to quell the public backlash. The university has known about these videos since January. Yet, officials did nothing in response until they became politically toxic months later. James should have been expelled immediately. Instead, he was allowed to lead an illegal protest.

Blinken Reveals He’s Seen Evidence of Communist China Attempting to Influence and Interfere in U.S. 2024 Presidential Election
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has raised alarms over evidence suggesting that China is actively attempting to influence and potentially interfere with the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election.
This revelation comes despite assurances from Chinese communist President Xi Jinping that his country would not engage in such activities.
In an interview with CNN, Blinken expressed concern over the evidence the United States has gathered, per Daily Mail.

Top Study: Carbon Emissions CANNOT Cause ‘Global Warming’
A bombshell new peer-reviewed study has provided conclusive scientific evidence proving that carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in Earth’s atmosphere cannot cause “global warming.”
Dr. Jan Kubicki led a group of world-renowned Polish scientists to study the impact of increases in CO2 emissions on the Earth’s global temperatures.
However, not only did they find that higher levels of CO2 made no difference, but they also proved that it simply isn’t possible for increases in carbon dioxide to cause temperatures to rise.
Kubicki and his team recently published three papers which all conclude that Earth’s atmosphere is already “saturated” with carbon dioxide.
This saturation means that, even at greatly increased levels of CO2, the “greenhouse gas” will not cause temperatures to rise.
Kubicki et al. summarize their evidence by noting that as a result of saturation, “emitted CO2 does not directly cause an increase in global temperature.”
Current levels of CO2 in the atmosphere are around 418 parts per million (ppm) but the scientists state that past 400 ppm, “the CO2 concentration can no longer cause any increase in temperature.”
The saturation of CO2 in the atmosphere is the hypothesis that dares not speak its name in mainstream media, politics, and across much of climate science.
The latest study is published in the prestigious Elsevier’s Science Direct peer-reviewed journal.

If Garland did not comply with the subpoena, he would face contempt of Congress proceedings, House Oversight Committee chair James Comer (R-KY) and Judiciary Committee chair Jim Jordan (R-OH) wrote Garland on April 17.
Biden’s Justice Department replied Thursday to Comer and Jordan by refusing to hand over the audio, citing a lack of “legitimate congressional need” for it.

FCC Democrat Majority Restores Obama Era Net Neutrality Rules
net neutrality regulations seek to prohibit internet service providers (ISPs), such as Comcast and Verizon, from blocking, slowing down or allowing for “paid prioritization,” by which users can pay for faster, more consistent service.
FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr said in an interview in April that net neutrality represents a leftist “power grab by the administrative state” and an “unlawful overreach.”
“The law of common carriage, mandated by the Title II regulations demanded by Democrats, is one of the solutions recommended by Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to address tech censorship. George Soros is paying student radicals who are fueling nationwide explosion of Israel-hating protests
USCPR provides up to $7,800 for its community-based fellows and between $2,880 and $3,660 for its campus-based “fellows” in return for spending eight hours a week organizing “campaigns led by Palestinian organizations.” They are trained to “rise up, to revolution.”

US Campuses: Incubating Terrorism
Some of the signs say “pro-Palestine”, “ceasefire now” and “end the humanitarian crisis in Gaza”. But these benign statements hide a far more malignant agenda, the end of Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people, the end of America as the world’s leading power and the end of democracy and the free market economy. Even if there were a unilateral ceasefire, accompanied by massive humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza, many of these protests would continue, because Gaza is merely an excuse for a much wider agenda: to destroy Israel and destroy America.
One never sees a sign calling for a two-state solution or for peace between Israel and the Palestinians. These are not the goals. What is demanded is the end of any Jewish presence in the Middle East. “Death to America,” similarly, means the end of America’s influence and Western values.
Many of the signs call for “revolution.” These are not directed against Israel, but rather against America, American Jews and all other Western democracies.
As in the 1960s, many of these students are being groomed to be the terrorists of the future — in the manner of Kathy Boudin and Bernardine Dohrn back then – and, in the United States, a fifth column, the aim of which is taking down America.
That these useful idiots are young does not make them less dangerous. Young students were instrumental in bringing to power tyrants such as Hitler, Stalin, Castro, Pol Pot and Mao.

Biden Signals Tax Hike If Re-Elected As Americans Struggle From His Inflation Crisis
President Joe Biden signaled that if he wins re-election this fall that Americans should expect to see an increase in their taxes, which comes as many are struggling from the high inflation rates that have defined Biden’s presidency.
A report from the Tax Foundation last month explained that Congress has less than two years to prevent “the vast majority” of Americans from getting hit with tax hikes.
The law that Biden wants to let expire is the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) of 2017, a law that simplified taxes and reduced taxes “across the income spectrum,” the report said.
“The TCJA reduced average tax rates for taxpayers at all income levels because it lowered marginal tax rates, widened tax brackets, doubled the child tax credit and zeroed out personal and dependent exemptions, nearly doubled the standard deduction, and limited several itemized deductions and the alternative minimum tax, among other changes,” the report added. “Average rates declined across all income groups and have remained below their 2017 levels since.”
Biden’s willingness to let the law expire flies in the face of his previous pledge to not raise taxes on those who earn less than $400,000 per year. “Biden just endorsed a $2 trillion tax hike on earners under $400k (breaking his no-new-taxes pledge for such earners), and and endorsed cutting the child credit down to $1,000,” said Manhattan Institute Senior Fellow Brian Riedl. “The White House wants it every way on the TCJA: 1) They demand to end the ‘Trump tax cuts’ – and write a budget claiming all the deficit savings from full expiration, but then also: 2) Pledge to extend for the bottom 98%, which costs $2 trillion over the decade.”

FCC votes to restore net neutrality rules
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) voted Thursday to restore Obama-era net neutrality rules.
Net neutrality rules, initially passed during the Obama administration in 2015, were rolled back under former President Trump in 2017.

However, Republican Commissioner Brendan Carr, who voted against the measure, argued Thursday that the agency “offers up a laundry list of bogus justifications” for bringing broadband service under Title II.
“Today’s order is not about net neutrality,” Carr said. “When we abandoned Title II in 2017, proponents of greater government control flooded the zone with apocalyptic rhetoric. Media outlets and politicians alike mindlessly parroted their claims. They predicted the end of the internet as we know it and that you’ll get the internet one word at a time. Consumers would have to pay for each website they wanted to reach.”
“None of that happened,” he continued. “Americans were subjected to one of the greatest hoaxes in regulatory history.”
The Republican commissioner also argued that major technology companies, instead of internet service providers (ISPs), are the “real abusers of gatekeeper power.”
“Since 2017, we’ve learned that the real abusers of gatekeeper power were not ISPs operating at the physical layer but Big Tech companies at the applications layer,” Carr added. “Perversely, today’s order makes Big Tech behemoths even stronger than before.”

Soros denounced over media acquisition plans
Billionaire financier has bought $400 million of debt owed by radio platform Audacy, which was going through a bankruptcy process
A US Congressman has accused billionaire George Soros of trying to fast-track his acquisition of American radio giant Audacy through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Fox News has reported.
Soros has bought a major stake in what is the US’ second-largest radio company and could gain “effective control” of more than 220 radio stations across the country, according to previous media reports.
Soros’ investment firm has become the largest shareholder in Audacy, after purchasing around $400 million of debt owed by the media group during its bankruptcy process. After years of declining revenue, Audacy filed for bankruptcy early last month, with $1.9 billion in debt. Should the deal go ahead, the billionaire financier would reportedly part-own broadcasters in 45 US states.Audacy owns 227 music, sports, and talk radio stations in 45 US states. The company also owns CBS Radio, which operates 11 news stations, including San Francisco’s KCBS and New York’s WCBS.

Lawless Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs Vetoes Bill to Require Proof of Residency for Voting
Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs on Tuesday vetoed legislation that would define residency in Arizona and require proof of residency, such as a home rental agreement or ownership, to vote in the state’s elections.
SB 2581 stipulates that “a resident is an individual who has actual physical presence in the state for at least one hundred eighty-one days with the intent to remain” but provides exceptions for individuals to vote if they provide evidence of employment, residential property, child school enrollment, and active duty military service.
Hobbs vetoed SB 2581, claiming that it “creates additional, unnecessary barriers for individuals registering to vote.”
Critics of the bill claim that it would bar out-of-state college students from voting in Arizona’s elections as the bill defines “resident” as an individual physical presence in the state for 181 days with the intent to remain.
However, the bill outlines six exceptions, which would allow students and temporary residents to vote.

Biden Admin Releases Robust Leasing Schedule For Struggling Green Industry After Issuing Restrictive Oil And Gas Plan
The Biden administration unveiled a plan to hold up to a dozen offshore wind leases over the next several years as the industry struggles to cement itself in the U.S.
The Department of the Interior (DOI) announced its five-year schedule for offshore wind leasing, which envisions lease sales for plots in the Atlantic, Pacific, Gulf of Mexico and waters off of American territories. The agency expects to offer four sales in 2024, one each in 2025 and 2026, two in 2027 and four in 2028.
The administration attempted to sell three areas in the Gulf of Mexico as offshore wind leases in August 2023, but the sales flopped as only one of the parcels received any bids. The Biden administration has previously touted its goal of having offshore wind supply enough electricity to power 10 million American homes by 2030, but Reuters reported in November 2023 that the lofty target for the industry appears to be firmly out of reach

Biden Regulator Passes Rule With Massive Implications For Millions Of Workers
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) issued a final rule Tuesday banning noncompete agreements nationwide, affecting millions of Americans.
Regulators argue that banning noncompetes will promote competition by giving workers greater ability to switch jobs, increasing innovation and leading to more businesses being created, according to an announcement from the FTC. The FTC estimates that around 18% of U.S. workers, or 30 million people, are covered under a noncompete, with the new rule applying to anyone not in a senior executive role, which is defined as someone who is making more than $151,164 and in a policy-making position.
“Noncompete clauses keep wages low, suppress new ideas, and rob the American economy of dynamism, including from the more than 8,500 new startups that would be created a year once noncompetes are banned,” FTC Chair Lina Khan said in the press release. “The FTC’s final rule to ban noncompetes will ensure Americans have the freedom to pursue a new job, start a new business, or bring a new idea to market.”
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced Tuesday that it would be suing the administration to block the rule change.
“Today, three unelected commissioners have unilaterally decided they have the authority to declare what’s a legitimate business decision and what’s not by moving to ban noncompete agreements in all sectors of the economy,” Suzanne Clark, President and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce said in the announcement. “This decision sets a dangerous precedent for government micromanagement of business and can harm employers, workers, and our economy. The Chamber will sue the FTC to block this unnecessary and unlawful rule and put other agencies on notice that such overreach will not go unchecked.”

Former President Donald Trump vowed to “reclaim” the educational system in the United States from the “radical left” that was responsible for “indoctrinating America’s youth.”
In a video posted to Truth Social on Tuesday, Trump revealed that he will establish the “College Accreditation System,” vowing to “fire the radical left accreditors” that have allowed higher institutions in the U.S. to teach Marxist ideology.

FBI Director Christopher Wray on Tuesday warned that foreign terrorist groups are again looking to attack the United States in an “increasingly concerning” way.

Solano County’s library network systems have been down for more than two weeks due to a cyberattack that has disrupted phone lines, computer services and Wi-Fi at its branches — which remain open, officials said.

Biden Blocks New Alaska Oil and Gas Leases to Save Polar Bears, Caribou, Blocks Key Mining Road
The Biden administration will block new oil and gas leasing on 13 million acres in Alaska’s federal petroleum reserve to protect local wildlife caribou and polar bears, and it will stop development on an access road for mining companies that was previously approved by the Trump administration.
Biden announced the government is blocking the development of the “Ambler Road,” a 211-mile access road that would have given mining companies the ability to access leased land for mineral development.
The far-left environmentalist group the Sierra Club called the decision a “major victory.”
This Biden decision bans oil and gas drilling in nearly half of the Alaska petroleum reserve. The reserve is 23 million acres ofpublic land for a national emergency oil supply originally intended for the US Navy, created in the early 1920s.
Even though pump prices have remained high for most Americans, and the high prices affect the working poor the most, Biden has been regularly canceling and terminating energy development leases, as he did several times in 2023.

Swiss Bitcoiners Renew Efforts To Orange-Pill The Country’s Central Bank
Several Swiss-based Bitcoiners are renewing attempts to get the Swiss National Bank to hold Bitcoin in its reserves by holding a referendum to change the country’s constitution — but they will need to convince more than 100,000 locals to sign a petition first.
Adding Bitcoin to the central bank’s reserves would help protect the country’s “sovereignty and neutrality” in an increasingly uncertain world, said Yves Bennaïm, founder and chairman of 2B4CH, a nonprofit think tank leading the charge.
However, 100,000 signatures from Swiss nationals are needed within 18 months for a referendum to be held on issues brought about by Swiss nationals or groups — a threshold that plagued 2B4CH’s first attempt in October 2021.
Switzerland boasts a population of 8.77 million, meaning about 1.15% of locals will need to sign the petition.

TikTok Announces Crackdown on “Conspiracy Theories” Involving the Government and Secret Societies
As of May 17, TikTok will start implementing new rules affecting content appearing on the app’s For You feed (FYF), and the changes are prompted by concerns about so-called “harmful speech” and “misinformation.”
FYF is vital for the visibility of content, since it opens and plays videos automatically when the app is launched, something TikTok refers to as its “personalized recommendation system.”
A post on the company’s site titled, “For You feed Eligibility Standards,” reveals that content that is deemed as health or news “misinformation” will be censored from this tab more stringently going forward.

Then there’s the blog post’s “explanation” that some types of content “may be fine if seen occasionally, but problematic if viewed in clusters.”
What this actually means is control of users’ exposure to content at its finest: “We will interrupt repetitive content patterns to ensure it is not viewed too often,” TikTok said.
When it comes to hate speech, “outlawed” is now even “some content” that is deemed to be making insinuations or indirect statements about protected groups – such that “may implicitly demean” them.
Dangerous activities and challenges are also banned from FYF – apparently only if they lead to “moderate physical harm.” And if you’d like your videos of people “wearing only nipple covers or underwear that does not cover the majority of the buttocks” to be featured, well, you’re also out of luck.
Other than disappearing from FYF, users who repeatedly post speech offending to TikTok’s new rules content will get deranked in the app’s search.
The second seeks to remove “unverified claims about an election, such as a premature claim that all ballots have been counted or tallied; statements that significantly misrepresent authoritative civic information, such as a false claim about the text of a parliamentary bill.”

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un supervised salvo launches of the country’s “super-large” multiple rocket launchers that simulated a nuclear counterattack against enemy targets, state media said Tuesday, adding to tests and threats that have raised tensions in the region.
Analysts say North Korea’s large-sized artillery rockets blur the boundary between artillery systems and ballistic missiles because they can create their own thrust and are guided during delivery. Former President Barack Obama used a Passover message on Monday to work Palestinians into the Jewish holiday, calling for empathy for those suffering in “Israel and Gaza,” and for solidarity with “people of all religions.”
Obama’s equivocation obscured the fact that Palestinian terrorists continue to hold 133 Israeli hostages. He failed, in fact, to mention the hostages, instead saying that people should “remember everyone who is unable to celebrate the holiday with their loved ones.” He also failed to mention the ongoing wave of antisemitism on college campuses and in Democrat-run cities, saying that “people of all religions … deserve to feel safe and secure” wherever they are.
Obama also botched the meaning of the Passover holiday, which is not about “resilience, redemption, and renewal,” but specifically about freedom — the freedom of the Israelite slaves who were liberated in the Exodus from Egypt.
Like “hostages” and “antisemitism,” the word “freedom” did not appear in Obama’s message. He also neglected the fact that for many Jews, the freedom of the hostages, many of whom are slaves, is a major Passover theme this year.

REVEALED: Former Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton Senior Policy Advisor Charged with Child Sex Offenses
A senior policy advisor in former president Barack Obama’s administration is facing potential jail time for crimes involving children.
The Daily Mail reported Sunday that 46-year-old Rahamim Shy was arrested by British police in Bedfordshire in late February. Court documents obtained by the Mail reveal Shy is accused of arranging the commission of a child sex offense.
Shy has also been charged with possession of two category C indecent images of children and possessing a prohibited image of a child.
The Mail reports he appeared at Luton Crown Court via video on Friday wearing a grey prison-issue tracksuit.
Shy is an American citizen who lives in New Jersey. He worked for the White House under Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. While working in the White House, Shy was responsible for directing the US government’s strategy to combat Islamist terrorists such as Al Qaeda and the Taliban.

The document was entered as evidence in the 2008 Holy Land Terror Funding Trial. Federal investigators found the document in the home of Ismael Elbarasse, a founder of the Dar Al-Hijrah mosque in Falls Church, Virginia, during a 2004 search. When the House voted to pass Biden’s foreign aid package included in this was passage of the REPO Act, which paves the way for the Biden administration confiscate billions in Russian sovereign assets which sit in US banks.

Trump Media Stock Spikes After CEO Pens “Naked” Short Letter
Shares of Trump Media spiked on Friday after the company alerted the Nasdaq to ‘potential market manipulation’ from ‘naked’ short selling of its stock.
The warning came as the company, which trades under the symbol $DJT, offered shareholders detailed instructions on how to prevent someone from loaning out their shares to short sellers.
In a Friday morning letter to Nasdaq CEO Adrena Friedman, CEO Devin Nunes noted that as of Wednesday, “DJT appears on Nasdaq’s ‘Reg SHO threshold list,’ which is indicative of unlawful trading activity.”
“his is particularly troubling given that ‘naked’ short selling often entails sophisticated market participants profiting at the expense of retail investors,” Nunes continued.
In his letter, Nunes pointed to circumstantial evidence – including DJT being the most expensive stock to short in the US, which he said would give brokers “significant financial incentive to lend non-existent shares,” CNBC reports. The letter also links to a CNBC article which delves into the high premiums brokers were charging short sellers for loans of DJT to sell.
“I write to bring your attention to potential market manipulation of the stock of Trump Media & Technology Group Corp,” wrote Nunes. “As you know, ‘naked’ short selling — selling shares of a stock without first borrowing the shares of stock deemed difficult to locate — is generally illegal pursuant to Securities and Exchange Commission (‘SEC’) Regulation SHO,” the letter continues.
“Data made available to us indicate that just four market participants have been responsible for over 60% of the extraordinary volume of DJT shares traded: Citadel Securities, VIRTU Americas, G1 Execution Services, and Jane Street Capital,” Nunes said, adding: “In light of the foregoing, and Nasdaq’s obligation and commitment to protect the interests of retail investors, please advise what steps you can take to foster transparency and compliance by ensuring market makers are adhering to Reg SHO, requiring brokers to disclose their ’Net Short” positions, and preventing the lending of shares that do not exist.”
Shares of DJT began spiking premarket, and were up as much as 11%.

Trump campaign says it will deploy thousands of election workers to monitor poll sites
Trump’s political operation said Thursday that it plans to deploy more than 100,000 attorneys and volunteers across battleground states to monitor — and potentially challenge — vote counting in November.
The initiative — which the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee described as “the most extensive and monumental election integrity program in the nation’s history” — will include training poll watchers and workers as well as lawyers.
It’s also a sign that, should Trump once again attempt to overturn the election, he will already have in place tens of thousands of workers who could help with that effort.

FBI says Chinese hackers preparing to attack US infrastructure
Chinese government-linked hackers have burrowed into U.S. critical infrastructure and are waiting “for just the right moment to deal a devastating blow,” FBI Director Christopher Wray said on Thursday.
An ongoing Chinese hacking campaign known as Volt Typhoon has successfully gained access to numerous American companies in telecommunications, energy, water and other critical sectors, with 23 pipeline operators targeted, Wray said in a speech at Vanderbilt University.
China is developing the “ability to physically wreak havoc on our critical infrastructure at a time of its choosing,” Wray said at the 2024 Vanderbilt Summit on Modern Conflict and Emerging Threats. “Its plan is to land low blows against civilian infrastructure to try to induce panic.”

President Joe Biden recently announced a new mass student-loan-forgiveness plan that has the potential to reach more younger borrowers.
Savannah Drake might seem like the quintessential student-loan borrower.
She’s 27, attended a large public college — Arizona State University — and is making the minimum payment on her roughly $80,000 in student loans in order to afford other bills, like rent and groceries. And yet Drake hasn’t benefited from any of the $153 billion in student-debt cancellation the Biden administration has announced so far — and neither have many people like her.

African illegals at a New York City Council meeting complained about the free (taxpayer-funded) food and housing provided to them.
More than 1,300 illegal aliens from Africa swarmed New York City Hall on Tuesday after they were falsely promised work visas and green cards.
The illegals were lined up outside of New York City Hall as far as the eye could see.
According to the New York Post, only 250 of the illegals were allowed at the Tuesday morning hearing.
All they did was complain about the freebies given to them.
“The food is no good at all. You give us two months to stay at the shelter and then you have to go out again with your luggage and your kids and find another place. It’s very difficult,” one of the illegals said.

Laken Riley murder suspect released over lack of detention space
Homeland Security released the illegal immigrant accused of killing Laken Riley into the U.S. because it lacked the detention space, according to his confidential immigration file.
Sen. Josh Hawley, Missouri Republican, read key parts of the file into the record at a Senate hearing Thursday.
Jose Ibarra, the man charged with the Feb. 22 slaying, was released under Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ power of parole, which is supposed to be used in limited cases and only when there is an urgent humanitarian need or a significant benefit to the public.
Mr. Hawley said lack of detention space doesn’t meet either of those standards and so Mr. Mayorkas broke the law in releasing the suspected killer.

Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has introduced multiple amendments to Biden and Speaker Mike Johnson’s foreign aid package, which funds Ukraine, Israel, and Palestine as our US Southern Border remains wide includes terms that will allow the President to cancel 50% of Ukraine’s debt after November 15, 2024 and the remaining 50% after January 1, 2024. It’s no wonder why Joe Biden came out “strongly” in support of the package, urging the House and Senate to pass it.
After President Trump wins the 2024 election, as expected, Joe Biden can cancel 50% of Ukraine’s debt before his term ends in January. However, if Biden and the Democrats pull off another stolen election, they can forgive 100% of Ukraine’s debt a little over one year later. This isn’t a loan. It’s a handout.
Another amendment would require members who vote for the Ukraine aid bill to enlist in the Ukrainian military and go fight the war themselves. The amendment reads, “Any Member of Congress who votes in favor of this Act shall be required to conscript in the Ukrainian military.”
Greene said on X, “I mean if you want to fund the war, why don’t you go fight in it. Show your support for Ukraine.”
Greene further introduced two amendments that would slash foreign aid, presumably to Ukraine and the Indo-Pacific, by 100% and dedicate those resources to helping Americans impacted by the East Palestine, Ohio train derailment and Hawaii wildfire disasters.

The man who transformed El Salvador from one of the most dangerous countries in the world to one of the safest, President Nayib Bukele, is despised by liberals.
When he won reelection in a landslide, liberal media outlets ran headlines stating that democracy had ended in El Salvador and that the country had become a one-party state. However, El Salvador is not Cuba.
Bukele did not eradicate opposition parties, nor did he imprison them or seize control of the press. Instead, he delivered on his promises. He made the country safe by locking up criminals.
President Bukele claimed that his country went 365 days without a murder. And while the exact number has been called into question, it is an indisputable fact that the country now has the lowest murder rate it has seen in 30 years, plummeting by 70%, and now stands at only 2.4 per 100,000 in 2023, making it the second lowest in the Americas, just behind Canada.
In 2022, after a gang war resulted in the deaths of 87 people over a period of just three days, Bukele took action against crime. He constructed the country’s largest prison, the Terrorism Confinement Center (Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo or CECOT), with a capacity for 40,000 gang members. And he began filling it.

Several states lost access to 911 emergency call services late last night causing many residents not to have any access to emergency services.
Nebraska, South Dakota, Texas, and Nevada residents experienced emergency service outages from around 10 p.m. to midnight.
Authorities in Texas reported the outages were due to “an outage with a major cellular carrier” but did not elaborate on which carrier was responsible.
Hours before the 911 services were disrupted, ABC News released an article stating the Department of Homeland Security is concerned that emergency services are likely targets for cyberattacks.
