这回唐僧师徒碰到了狮子精、大象精和大鹏精，悟空被装进宝瓶里，靠观音菩萨送的救命毫毛，才逃出来。悟空几经周折，两次救出师傅，又两次被妖怪夺了回去，最后还是菩萨和如来佛祖收服了妖怪，悟空才救出师傅。
