「But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.」 Amen.　

　The cross is made up of vertical and horizontal. The vertical is our relationship with God and the horizontal is our relationship with our neighbors. When this relationship is good, God pours out the fruits of love, joy, and peace, and the fruits of generosity, kindness, and goodness flow to our neighbors, and we ourselves bear the fruits of sincerity, meekness, and self-control in abundance.

　May we be filled with the fruits of the Spirit today.

【ガラ5:22-23／新改訳2017】

『しかし、御霊の実は、愛、喜び、平安、寛容、親切、善意、誠実、柔和、自制です。このようなものに反対する律法はありません。』

　十字架は、縦と横で成り立っています。縦は神様との関係、横は隣人との関係です。この関係が良好だと、神様から愛・喜び・平安という実が注がれ、隣人へ寛容・親切・善意という実を流し、そして、自分の中には誠実・柔和・自制という実がたわわに実ってくるのです。

　今日も、御霊の実が豊かに実りますように・・・。

【イザ6:8／新改訳2017】

『私は主が言われる声を聞いた。「だれを、わたしは遣わそう。だれが、われわれのために行くだろうか。」私は言った。「ここに私がおります。私を遣わしてください。」』　

今や、この世は混沌としてきています。クリスチャンというだけで石を投げられるかもしれません。無視されるかもしれません。迫害にあうかもしれません。でも、主のみ言葉に堅く立つ人には主の守りが最後まであるのです。イザヤも語り続けました。信じようが信じまいが、聞こうが聞くまいが、見ようが見まいが語り続けたのです。その原動力は、彼の見た幻にあり、悔い改めと聖霊体験にあり、そして、召命体験にあったのです。『イザ40:31 しかし、【主】を待ち望む者は新しく力を得、鷲のように、翼を広げて上ることができる。走っても力衰えず、歩いても疲れない。』

　お祈り致します。

愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。イザヤは幻を通して、聖霊体験を通して、また、召命体験を通して、主の臨在を心に刻み、伝道にその一生を捧げました。私達も、それぞれに与えられた賜物を用いて主の御用を勤めることができますようにお導き願います。時が近づいてきています。私達が主に用いられますようにお一人お一人を強めて下さいますようにお願いします。今日の礼拝を感謝し、主イエス・キリストのお名前によってお祈り致します。　　アーメン。

 「The heavens declare the glory of God;And the firmament shows His handiwork.」　Amen.

　Psalm is said to be the hymn written by David. King David was a king loved by both God and man, but he committed a very great sin. Because of that, he must have thought deeply about the work of God the Creator, God's Word, and his own sins and God's forgiveness. He always exposed himself before God. He sincerely repented. So God's forgiveness and grace poured out on him.

　May we be thankful for the Lord's grace today as well.

【詩19:1／新改訳2017】

『天は神の栄光を語り告げ大空は御手のわざを告げ知らせる。』

　この詩篇は、ダビデの賛歌と言われています。ダビデ王は、神にも人にも愛された王様でしたが、大変大きな罪を犯してしまいました。それ故に、創造主なる神様が為した業、神様のみ言葉、そして、自分自身の罪と神様の赦しに関して、深く考えたことでしょう。いつも神様を前にして自分自身をさらけ出したのです。そして、真摯に悔い改めました。そこに、神様の赦しと恵みが降り注いできたのです。

　今日も、主の恵みに感謝できますように・・・。

 「For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,」 Amen.

Philippi was a Roman colonial city. The residents had Roman citizenship. They knew full well what great privileges they had been granted. The word "nationality" also means "citizenship. " The Philippians understood how great a privilege it was to have a nationality in heaven.

May we look up to heaven and ponder on it today.

【ピリ3:20／新改訳2017】

『しかし、私たちの国籍は天にあります。そこから主イエス・キリストが救い主として来られるのを、私たちは待ち望んでいます。』

ピリピは、ローマの植民都市でした、そして、そこに住む住民は、ローマの市民権を持っていたのです。いかに大きな特権を与えられていたかを充分に知っていたのです。「国籍」には、「市民権」の意味もあるのです。だから、天に国籍があるということは、そこに、いかに大きな特権があるかという意味が、ピリピの人たちには、良く理解できたのです。

今日も、天を見上げて思いを巡らすことができますように・・・。

 「who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.」　

  Amen.

　The word “sin” means “to miss the target.” It is sin to walk selfishly away from the Creator who is the target of our life. There is no salvation, no eternal life, and no hope of heaven as we remain buried in sin. It is important to repent quickly and honestly. Just by believing in Jesus, our sins are forgiven. God has given us eternal life. A ticket to heaven is available to us.

　May we look up to the Lord of the Cross today.

【ロマ4:25／新改訳2017】

『主イエスは、私たちの背きの罪のゆえに死に渡され、私たちが義と認められるために、よみがえられました。』

　罪とは、「的外れ」。人生の的である創造主から離れて、自分勝手に歩き出すことが罪なのです。罪の中に埋没していると、救いもなく、永遠の命もなく、天国の希望もありません。早く、素直に悔い改めることが寛容です。イエス様を信じるだけで、罪赦されるのです。永遠の命が与えられるのです。天国への切符を手に入れることができるのです。

　今日も、十字架の主を仰ぎ見ることができますように・・・。

 「For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.」 Amen.

To live with Jesus means that tribulation will come with us. Paul faced many hardships on his journey: difficulties on the river, difficulties of bandits, difficulties on the sea, and many other hardships. He considered them insignificant compared to the cross of Jesus and the glory that would come later. “The glory which shall be revealed in us” means that they will be changed into glorified bodies at the Second Coming, and that they will be guaranteed a new heaven and a new earth.

May we pray today at the foot of the cross of the Lord.
