『人の心にある計画は深い水。

　英知のある人はこれを汲み出す。』

　「大賢は愚なるがごとし」という言葉があります。表面は、のろまでばかのように見えても、実は心の底に、深い愛や知恵をたたえている人の事です。富士山に降った雨が伏流水となって、私たちの前に現れるまでには、相当な時間が必要です。でも、その存在を知り、その場所を知っている人は、その伏流水の恩恵に預かることができるのです。(ヨハネ7:37-38) 「だれでも渇いているなら、わたしのもとに来て飲みなさい。わたしを信じる者は、聖書が言っているとおり、その人の心の奥底から、生ける水の川が流れ出るようになります。」　

　今日も、深い水を汲みだすことができますように・・・。

「The lazy man will not plow because of winter;

　He will beg during harvest and have nothing.」Amen.

To obtain a harvest, we need to till the soil, sow seeds, pour water, fertilize, pull weeds, and so on. It is hard, painful, and involves patience, but if we do not do this, it will not lead to a harvest. Even so, there are times when there is a bad harvest. (2 Corinthians 9:6) “He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.” It is God who makes the seedlings grow. A life of surrender to God is the path of peace.

『怠け者は冬に耕さない。

　刈り入れ時に求めても、何もない。』

　収穫を得るためには、土を耕し、種を蒔き、水を注ぎ、肥料をやり、草を抜く、そんな作業が必要なのです。それは、苦しく、辛く、忍耐を伴うものですが、そうしないと収穫には結びつかないのです。そうしても、凶作の時もあります。(Ⅱコリ9:6)「わずかだけ蒔く者はわずかだけ刈り入れ、豊かに蒔く者は豊かに刈り入れます。」苗を成長させてくださるのは神なのです。すべてを神に委ねる人生こそ、平安の道なのです。

　今日も、平安の中で過ごせますように・・・。

「The wrath of a king is like the roaring of a lion;

Whoever provokes him to anger sins against his own life.」Amen.

　It is reminiscent of the fearfulness of the King. The Creator God is also a loving God as well as a righteous God. Therefore, if we continue to reject Him to the end without repentance, the end result will be the loss of eternal life. The happiest path for us is not to see God as the one who condemns us to death, but as the one who loves us even in our sinfulness. Then God's grace will moisten us like dew.

『王の恐ろしさは若い獅子がうなるよう。

彼を怒らせる者は、代償としていのちを失う。』

王様の恐ろしさを彷彿とさせます。創造主なる神様も、愛なる神様と同時に義なる神様でもあるのです。従って、私たちが悔い改めることなく、最後まで神様を拒み続けたら、最終的には永遠の命を失う結果となるのです。この神様を死の宣告者として捉えることなく、こんな罪深い自分をも愛してくださるお方として捉えるのが一番幸せの道なのです。そうすると、神様の恵みが露のように、しっとりと潤いを与えてくださるのです。

今日も、主の恵みで満たされますように・・・。　　

「Wine is a mocker,Strong drink is a brawler,

　And whoever is led astray by it is not wise.」Amen.

Money and alcohol are both neutral. However, depending on how they are used, they can be good or evil.In the Bible, we are told that it is the one who lacks wisdom who becomes a mocker or a rabble-rouser when drunk. For those who like to drink, this may seem like a tight squeeze, but the Bible also says this. (1 Timothy 6:17) "Look to God, who richly provides us with all things to enjoy." Wisdom is knowing the Creator, and peace accompanies us in everything we do, whether we eat or drink.

『ぶどう酒は嘲る者。強い酒は騒ぎ立てる者。

　これにおぼれる者はみな、知恵がない。』

　お金もお酒も中立なものです。ただ、その用い方によっては、善であったり悪であったりします。

聖書では、酒に酔って嘲る者になったり、騒ぎ立てる者になったりするのは、知恵がない者だと言われるのです。お酒が好きな人にとっては、窮屈な話だと思われるかもしれませんが、聖書では、このようにも書かれています。(第一テモテ6:17)「わたしたちにすべての物を豊かに備えて楽しませて下さる神に、のぞみをおくように、」知恵とは、創造主を知ることであり、食べるにも飲むにも何をするにも、そこには、平安が伴うのです。

　今日も、平安のうちに過されますように・・・。

「Cease listening to instruction, my son,

　And you will stray from the words of knowledge.」Amen.

There is a big difference between those who learn from criticism and those who reject reprimands. It is meaningful to take criticism and reprimand seriously and use it as a stepping stone for growth. However, in this age of the Internet, there is a lot of mindless criticism and rebuke. We need to listen to the Word of God every day. Then your mind, body, and spirit will be protected.

『わが子よ、訓戒を聞くのをやめてみよ。

　あなたは知識のことばから迷い出ることになる。』

　批判から学ぶ人と叱責を拒否する人とでは、大きな違いが生じてきます。自分への批判や叱責を真摯に受け止め、成長の為の足がかりとする事は有意義な事です。でも、このネットの時代には、心無い批判や叱責が多く見受けられます。聖書のみ言葉を御日毎日聞くことです。そうすれば、心も体も霊も守られるのです。

　今日も、主の守りの中で過されますように・・・。　

「The fear of the Lord leads to life,

　And he who has it will abide in satisfaction;

　He will not be visited with evil.」Amen.

If you believe in God and live your life, there should be sound habits, a beneficial lifestyle, and God's protection. However, as we go through life, difficulties will come and unfortunate events can occur even if we believe. That is why we need the cross. When problems arise, we need to pray under the cross. Even though we pray on a regular basis, our prayers at that time are different.

　May we pray under the cross of the Lord today....
