『【主】を恐れるなら、いのちに至る。

　満ち足りて住み、わざわいにあわない。』

　神様を信じて生きているなら、そこには、健全な習慣があり、有益な生活スタイルがあり、神の守りがある筈です。しかしながら、人生を歩んでいると、信じていても困難はやってくるし、不幸な出来事も起こりうるのです。だからこそ、十字架が必要なのです。問題が起こったら、十字架の下で祈る必要があるのです。普段から祈っていても、その時の祈りは、また一味違うのです。

　今日も、主の十字架の下で祈ることができますように・・・。　

『感謝のいけにえを献げる者はわたしをあがめる。自分の道を正しくする人にわたしは神の救いを見せる。』

　詩篇９０篇でモーセは祈りました。「詩90:10 私たちの齢は七十年。健やかであっても八十年。そのほとんどは労苦とわざわいです。瞬く間に時は過ぎ私たちは飛び去ります。」感謝できる出来事よりも感謝できない出来事の方が多いのです。その中にあっても感謝しなさいと聖書は語るのです。そこに神を知る者の祝福が隠されているのです。

お祈りします。

愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。私たちは、神様から生まれ、神様と共に生き、神様の元へと帰る運命にあります。創造主なる神様を知る者として、この世の出来事の中で、たとえ感謝出来ない出来事に遭遇したとしても、ただただ感謝できるようにお導き願います。今日の礼拝を感謝し、主イエス・キリストのお名前によってお祈り致します。アーメン。

「There are many plans in a man's heart,

　Nevertheless the Lord's counsel-that will stand.」　Amen.

The Bible also says this. (Proverbs 16:9) " A man's heart plans his way,But the Lord directs his steps." We are told not to keep our thoughts, aspirations, and plans to ourselves, but to pray about them to God. Then, he says, pride will disappear and you will be given new strength to realize them. Everything is in God's hands.

　May we spend today doing the Lord's will....

『人の心には多くの思いがある。

　しかし、【主】の計画こそが実現する。』

　聖書には、このようにも書かれています。(箴言16:9)「人は心に自分の道を思い巡らす。しかし、【主】が人の歩みを確かにされる。」自分の思い、志、計画を自分の中だけで留めないで、それを神様に祈りなさいと言われるのです。そうすると、高慢な気持ちはなくなり、実現するための新しい力が与えられるというのです。すべては神の御手の中にあるのです。

　今日も、主の御心のままに過ごせますように・・・。　

「He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord,

　And He will pay back what he has given.」　Amen.

The Bible says, "but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven," (Matthew 6:20) I am easily distracted by the riches of this world. But the Living Bible translates it this way. "Giving money to the poor is the same as lending it to God. When you have such an opportunity," you should keep it in mind.

　I hope that today, too, we will be able to do things that will be rewarded by the Lord....

『貧しい者に施しをするのは、【主】に貸すこと。

　主がその行いに報いてくださる。』

　聖書では「天に宝を蓄えなさい」と書かれてあります。(マタイ6:20)私は、ついついこの世の富に目移りします。しかし、リビングバイブルでは、このように訳しています。「貧しい人にお金を恵むのは、神様に貸すのと同じです。あとでたっぷり利息がついて戻ってきます」そんな機会があったら、心に留めておきたいものです。

　今日も、主に報いをいただく行いができますように・・・。

「Chasten your son while there is hope,

　And do not set your heart on his destruction.」Amen.

I don't know if there is hope until they are three years old, but they tell us to chastise them, but not to even think about killing them. It also says this. (Proverbs 13:24) "He who spares his rod hates his son,But he who loves him disciplines him promptly." If there is love in the chastening, there will be no desire to kill, and the child will know that love. If it grows up spoiled and without chastening, it will become an irrevocable adult. That is what the Bible admonishes us to do.

　May we be attentive to the Lord's commandments today....

『望みのあるうちに、自分の子を懲らしめよ。

　しかし、殺そうとまで考えてはならない。』

　望みがあるのは、3歳までなのかどうかは分かりませんが、懲らしめよと言われ、しかしながら、殺そうとまでは考えるなと言い切っています。こうも書かれています。(箴言13:24)「むちを控える者は自分の子を憎む者。子を愛する者は努めてこれを懲らしめる。」懲らしめの中に愛があるならば、殺意は芽生えないだろうし、子どもにもその愛が分かるのです。甘やかし、懲らしめの無いままに育ったら、取り返しのない大人になってしまうのです。聖書では、それを戒めているのです。

　今日も、主の戒めに心を傾けることができますように・・・。　

「Laziness casts one into a deep sleep,

　And an idle person will suffer hunger.」Amen.

 Sometimes there are days when nothing is scheduled. No goals, no initiative, no rhythm, no energy. If every day were such a day, I would be branded as a lazy person. I have a strong disposition to be lazy, and if I didn't have the Bible, I would have been a genuine slacker. God gives me such strength. (Isaah. 40:31) "But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength;They shall mount up with wings like eagles,They shall run and not be weary,They shall walk and not faint."　

May you be filled with the Lord's power today....

『怠惰は人を深い眠りに陥らせ、

　怠け者は飢える。』

時々何も予定が入っていない日があります。目標がない、自主性がない、リズムがない、エネルギーがない。毎日がそんな一日だったら、怠け者と言う烙印を押されてしまいそうです。怠け者の気質が強い私に、もしも聖書がなかったら、正真正銘の怠け者になっていたことでしょう。そんな私に神様は力を与えて下さるのです。(イザ40:31) 「しかし、【主】を待ち望む者は新しく力を得、鷲のように、翼を広げて上ることができる。走っても力衰えず、歩いても疲れない。」　

今日も、主の力で満たされますように・・・。
