「The lot is cast into the lap,

　But its every decision is from the Lord.」Amen.

Lotteries are supposed to be accidental, but even these are said to be controlled by God. It also says (Proverbs 18:18), "The lot is cast into the lap,But its every decision is from the Lord."  Humanly speaking, it takes a lot of courage to entrust major issues to lots, but at that time, we may have no choice but to trust in the Lord and cast lots.

　May today be another day of trusting in the Lord....

『くじは膝に投げられるが、

　そのすべての決定は【主】から来る。』

　くじは、偶然のものと思われますが、それさえも神が支配しておられるというのです。また、（箴 18:18）「くじは争いをやめさせ、強い者の間に決着をつける。」とも書かれてあります。人間的には、大きな問題をくじに委ねることは、非常に勇気がいることですが、その時には、主に信頼して、くじを引くしかないのかもしれませんね。

　今日も、主に信頼を寄せる一日となりますように・・・。

「He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty,

　And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.」Amen.

It is difficult to control one's mind. Anger may or may not have love deep within it. If there is love, it can be a force that helps a person to stand up, but if there is no love, it can ruin a person. It is often said, "It is easy to rule a bandit in the mountains, but difficult to rule a bandit in the heart." If we allow Jesus to sit on the throne of our hearts through faith, we can become a person who can rule our lives.

　May we spend time with Jesus, who lives within us today....

『怒りを遅くする者は勇士にまさり、

　自分の霊を治める者は町を攻め取る者にまさる。』

　自分の心をコントロールするのは難しいものです。「怒り」も、その心の奥に愛がある場合と愛がない場合があります。愛があれば、その人を立ち上がらせる力となりますが、愛がないと、人を駄目にしてしまいます。「山中の賊は治めやすく、心中の賊は治めがたし」と、良く言われますが、信仰によってイエス様に心の王座に座っていただくと、人生をも治める人となれるのです。

　今日も、内住のイエス様と共に過ごすことができますように・・・。

愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。聖霊様なる神様、人格者なる聖霊様、あなたを受け入れ、歓迎し、従います。私たちの心の中の聖霊様が消えてなくならないようにお守りください。いつでもどこでも交わることができるように助けて下さい、この祈りを主イエス・キイストのお名前によってお祈り致します。アーメン。

　And a whisperer separates the best of friends.」Amen.

The aging society is progressing all over the world. Even though they are old, sick, or unable to do anything, the elderly who have a clear purpose in life and have a zest for living will indeed be crowned with a crown of prosperity. I believe this is the result of living by God's wisdom and God's power, and continuing to give and serve. God is a good God. He wants to fill our lives with good things.

　May we be filled with His goodness today....

『白髪は栄えの冠。

　それは正義の道に見出される。』

　全世界的に高齢化社会が進んでいます。老いても病んでも何にもできなくなっても、生きる目的が明確であり、生きがいを持っておられる老人は、まさに栄えの冠を戴いていることでしょう。それは、神の知恵や神の力で生き、与え続け、仕え続けた結果だと思います。神様は良き神様です。私たちの人生を良きもので満たそうとしておられるのです。

　今日も、主の良きもので満たされますように・・・。

A twisted mind is not easily straightened. Entanglements in parent-child relationships, marital relationships, and work relationships are difficult to untangle. A twisted mind can lead to mean words, backbiting, and accusations. And once words are spoken, they cannot be undone. And we become slaves to the words we have said. It is the peaceful heart of Jesus that frees us from this twisted mind.

　May the peace of Jesus be my peace today....
