「Honest weights and scales are the Lord's;

　All the weights in the bag are His work.」Amen.

Each person has his or her own yardstick in his or her mind. The standard may be a person's values, religious view, or outlook on life. But without God, values, religious views, and life views are empty. They may be good for a time, but they end up miserable. God knows everything. He controls the past, the present, and even the future, and in the midst of it all, He loves us, watches over us, and helps us. Spending time in this love of God is what ultimately makes life more comfortable.

　May we entrust everything to the Lord today....

『正しい天秤と秤は【主】のもの。

　袋の中の重り石もみな、主が造られたもの。』

　人は、心の中にそれぞれの物差しを持っています。その基準は、その人の価値観であったり、宗教観であったり、人生観であったりします。しかし、神なしの価値観も宗教観も人生観も虚しいものです。一時的には良くても、最後は惨めな結末に終わるのです。神様は、すべてを知っておられるのです。過去も現在も未来さえも支配し、その中で私たちを愛し、見守り、助けてくださっているのです。この神の愛の中で過ごすことが、結局、人生に余裕がでてくるのです。

　今日も、すべてを主に委ねることができますように・・・。　

「A man's heart plans his way,

But the Lord directs his steps.」Amen.

How will you spend your day? What goals will you set for this year? How will you live your life? Each of these is a thought that comes to mind. Most of them come from our own thoughts. But in the Bible, we are told to bring them before God. For God the Creator made us, watches over our lives, and will be with us forever.

　May we pour out our thoughts before Him today....

『人は心に自分の道を思い巡らす。

しかし、【主】が人の歩みを確かにされる。』

　今日一日、どのように過ごすか？今年一年、どのような目標をたてるか？自分の人生、どのように生きるか？それぞれに思いを巡らせます。大抵は自分の考えからくるものです。しかし、聖書では、それを神の前に持って行きなさいと言われるのです。創造主なる神様が私たちを造り、私たちの人生を見守り、永遠に共にいてくださるからです。

　今日も、主の前で思いを注ぎだすことができますように・・・。

「When a man's ways please the Lord,

　He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.」Amen.

　People live in relationships. Family relationships, marital relationships, parent-child relationships, relative relationships, work relationships, school relationships, community relationships, etc. Some relationships work well, some don't. Some relationships are avoidable, some are not. But when the Spirit of the Lord enters, they can be changed in an instant. It is through continued prayer.

　May we continue to pray in the Spirit of the Lord today....

『【主】が人の行いを喜ぶとき、

　敵さえもその人と和らがせる。』

人は人間関係の中で生きています。家族関係、夫婦関係、親子関係、親戚関係、職場関係、学校関係、地域関係等々。うまくいっている関係もあれば、うまくいってない関係もあります。避けられる関係もあれば、避けられない関係もあります。でも、主の霊が入ると一瞬のうちに変えられるのです。それは、祈りの継続によるのです。

今日も、主の霊の中で祈り続けることができますように・・・。  

「The Lord has made all for Himself,Yes,

even the wicked for the day of doom.」Amen.

God is the Creator and we are His creatures. He made everything in this world and controls everything. In order to save mankind from separation from God, He sent Jesus, crucified Him on the cross, took our place, died, and rose again. When we believe this fact, we are saved and given eternal life. God knows all our sufferings and pains, and He always watches over us from above, saying, "Since you were precious in My sight,You have been honored,And I have loved you."

　May we walk with the Lord today....

『すべてのものを、【主】はご自分の目的のために造り、

悪しき者さえ、わざわいの日のために造られた。』

  神様は、創造主であり、私たちは被造物なのです。この世のすべてを造り、すべてを支配されておられます。神から離れた人間を救う為に、イエス様を遣わし、十字架に架け、私たちの身代わりとなって、死なれ、そして、蘇えりました。この事実を信じた時に救われ、永遠の命が与えられるのです。神様は、私たちの苦しみも痛みもすべて知っておられ、「わたしの目には、あなたは高価で尊い」と言われ、いつも上から見守ってくださっておられるのです。

　今日も、主と共に歩む事ができますように・・・。

「Commit your works to the Lord,

　And your thoughts will be established.」Amen.

 　The New Japanese Bible says, "Ask the Lord to bless your plans, and you will be successful in carrying them out."  there will always be an end. Whether it is a fulfilling end or an empty end depends on whether you are making a pillar of something shaky or something unshakable. When we surrender the end to the unshakable God, everything will be "the end is good."

　May today be another day of surrender to the Lord....

『あなたのわざを【主】にゆだねよ。

　そうすれば、あなたの計画は堅く立つ。』

　新改訳では、「あなたのしようとすることを【主】にゆだねよ。そうすれば、あなたの計画はゆるがない。」と、あります。始まりがあれば、必ずその終わりがやってきます。充実した終わりか、空虚な終わりかは、揺らぐものを柱としているか、揺るぎないものを柱としているかで、違ってくるのです。揺るぎなき神に終わりを委ねると、すべて「終わりよし」となるのです。

　今日も、主に委ねる一日となりますように・・・。
