『そうすれば、あなたの倉は豊かさで満たされ、

　あなたの石がめは新しいぶどう酒であふれる。』

　私たちの倉が満たされる条件が９節に書かれてあります。それは、「私たちの財産と収穫の初物で主をあがめよ」と言うのです。自分の願いだけを求め、叶えられると良しとするご利益宗教ではないのです。たとえそうではなくても、神様のみ言葉をきちんと聞き、神様に愛されている実感を覚え、絶えず祈っていくときに、自然と倉が満たされてくるのです。

　今日も、主を崇めつつ過ごすことができますように・・・。　

『13:5 金銭を愛する生活をせずに、今持っているもので満足しなさい。主ご自身が「わたしは決してあなたを見放さず、あなたを見捨てない」と言われたからです。13:6 ですから、私たちは確信をもって言います。「主は私の助け手。私は恐れない。 人が私に何ができるだろうか。」』

私たちは、生まれながらに持っているものがあり、また、生きている間に持つものもあります。私たちは、今あるものに不満を言う時がありますが、聖書では、今持っているもので満足しなさいと言われるのです。その為には決断をしなければなりません。主の臨在を私の幸福とする決断、心の中のごみを掃除する決断、積極的に人に良いことをする決断、その決断をする時に神様が祝福を与えてくださるのです。

お祈りします。

愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。どんな状況の中であっても、どんな環境の中であっても、いつも主を見上げつつ過ごすことができますようにお願いします。今あるもので満足し、前へ進む決断ができますようにお導き願います。イエス様は、昨日も今日も変わることがありませんから感謝します。信仰の創始者で完成者なるイエス様から目を離すことがないように助けて下さい。今日の礼拝を感謝し、すべてを感謝し、主イエス・キリストのお名前によってお祈りいたします。

アーメン。

「Honor the Lord with your possessions,

　And with the firstfruits of all your increase;」　Amen.

We tend to think that what we have is the result of our own efforts. But no one is born of his or her own volition, no one grows by grafting bones to bones by himself or herself, and no one attracts all of his or her environment by his or her own efforts.

All of one's gifts, possessions, and environment are given by God. But man denies God, resists His Word, and refuses to believe. When we offer God our firstfruits, praise and thanksgiving, "so be it," leads to verse 10.

　May we offer praise and thanksgiving to the Lord today....

『あなたの財産で【主】をあがめよ。

　あなたのすべての収穫の初物で。』

　今あるのは、自分の努力の賜物だと思いがちです。でも、自分の意思で生まれた人はなく、自分で骨に骨を接いで成長した人はなく、自分の努力ですべての環境を引き寄せた人はいないのです。

自分の賜物も財産も環境も、全ては神から与えられたものなのです。でも、人間は神を否み、み言葉に抗い、信じようとはしません。神に初物や賛美や感謝を捧げると、「そうすれば」と１０節に繋がっていくのです。

　今日も、主に賛美と感謝を捧げることができますように・・・。　

「Do not be wise in your own eyes;

　Fear the Lord and depart from evil.」　Amen.

What happens then? They say that the bones become healthy. For Jews, bones equal heart. Someone once said, "If you have energy, you can do anything." If your heart is energetic and vigorous, you can lead a healthy life. If you live a healthy life, bad environments will not come near you. In order for this to happen, we must always put the Lord in front of us.

　Today, may we live a life that looks up to the Lord....

『自分を知恵のある者と考えるな。

　【主】を恐れ、悪から遠ざかれ。』

　すると、どうなるのでしょう。骨が元気になると言うのです。ユダヤ人にとって、骨イコール心なのです。「元気があれば何でもできる」と言った人がいましたが、心が元気溌溂としていたら、健康な生活をすることができるのです。健康な生活をしていれば、悪い環境は近づかないのです。そうなるためには、いつも主を前に置くことなのです。

　今日も、主を仰ぐ見る生活ができますように・・・。　

「In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He shall direct your paths.」　Amen.

The road of life can be winding, dusty, and bumpy, but here is the secret to being made straight. The secret is to recognize the Lord at all times and in all places. The Lord loved me in my sinfulness, forgave my sins through the blood of the cross, and gave me eternal life. He fills my life with good things. The secret is to look to God in every moment.

　May we see Him today....

『あなたの行く道すべてにおいて、主を知れ。

主があなたの進む道をまっすぐにされる。』

人生の道は、曲がりくねったり、埃だらけだったり、でこぼこだったりしますが、ここで、真っ直ぐな道にされる秘訣が書かれてあります。それは、いつでも、どこでも、主を認めることなのです。主は、この罪深い私を愛して、十字架の血潮によって、罪を赦してくださり、永遠の命を与えて下さった。私の人生を良きもので満たしてくださる。どんな時にも神を見ることが秘訣なのです。

今日も、主を見ることができますように・・・。　　

「Trust in the Lord with all your heart,

　And lean not on your own understanding;」　　Amen.

 "lean not on your own understanding" This seems to be a quick and easy thing to do. After all, I know how immature my own understanding is. The question is what comes after. Who or what do we rely on? Here we are told to "Trust in the Lord" We are to accept the reality that we cannot change, and we are to be courageous in what we can change, and we are to pray that He will give us the strength to discern between the two. Then peace and strength will come to us.

　May you spend today in the peace of the Lord....

『心を尽くして【主】に拠り頼め。

　自分の悟りに頼るな。』

　「自分の悟りに頼るな」、これは、すぐにでもできそうです。なんとなれば、自分の悟りがいかに未熟なものかを知っているからです。問題は、この後です。誰に頼るのか、何に頼るのかです。ここでは、「主により頼め」と言われるのです。変えられない現実を受け止め、変えられるものには勇気を持って取り組み、この二つを見分ける力を与えてくださいと祈ることです。すると、平安と力が湧いてくるのです。

　今日も、主の平安の中で過ごされますように・・・。
