　メリークリスマス！イエス様は、神様なのに、人となってこの世にお生まれになりました。私たちと同じ肉体を持って、私たちと同じ環境の中で、私たちと同じ感情を味わい、そして、私たちを救おうとして、身代わりに十字架に架かったのです。信じる私たちが今も平安の中で過ごせるのは、その犠牲的な愛ゆえなのです。

　クリスマスにただただ感謝です。

『「ベツレヘム・エフラテよ、

　あなたはユダの氏族の中で、あまりにも小さい。

　だが、あなたからわたしのためにイスラエルを治める者が出る。

　その出現は昔から、永遠の昔から定まっている。」』

　いよいよクリスマスが近づいてきました。クリスマスの主人公はイエス・キリストなのです。サンタクロースでもパーティーでもプレゼントでもありません。イエス様は私たちを罪から救う為にこの世に下りてこられました。聖書の預言通りにご降誕されたのです。ユダ族だったイエス様は、聖書に書かれていたように、ベツレヘムでお生まれになりました。救い主としてお生まれになったのです。

　今日も、聖書の預言に心を留められるように・・・。

「Praise Him with the timbrel and dance;

　Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!」　Amen.

　　When thinking of "tambourine and dancing," a scene that comes to mind immediately is when Moses' sister Miriam sang and danced after the miracle at the Red Sea. And David, too, had a scene where he joyfully danced when bringing back the Ark of the Covenant. At that time, there was a grand display of praise with singers, song leaders, people's cheers, shofars, trumpets, cymbals, harps, and lyres. It must have been a mobilization of praise. It must have been a magnificent sight.

『タンバリンと踊りをもって　神をほめたたえよ。

　弦をかき鳴らし笛を吹いて　神をほめたたえよ。』

　「タンバリンと踊り」ですぐに思い出すのは、モーセの姉ミリアムが紅海の奇跡の後に歌って踊った場面です。そして、ダビデにも、契約の箱を戻した時に喜び踊った場面がありました。この時は、歌い手たち、歌唱を導く人、民衆の歓声、角笛、ラッパ、シンバル、琴、竪琴で賛美したのです。賛美の総動員といった趣だったのでしょうね。壮観だったことでしょう。

　今日も、心から主を賛美することができますように・・・。　

『2:11 今日ダビデの町で、あなたがたのために救い主がお生まれになりました。この方こそ主キリストです。』

クリスマスは、愛なる神様が私達にその愛を示す為に御一人子なるイエス様をお遣わしになり、私たちを救う為にお生まれになった、その事を祝う日なのです。単なるイベントで終わるのではなく、本当の意味を知ることができますように、神様としてのご性質、また、人としてのご性質を備えて、私たちを救う為に来られた、その事を多くの人々が知ることができるように祝福して下さい。

お祈り致します。

愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。このクリスマスの時期に、また深くイエス様の事を知ることができ感謝します。イエス様のご降誕は聖書の預言通りに成就されましたから感謝します。そして、再臨の時がやってきて、新天新地まで、あなたが導いてくださいますからありがとうございます。毎年毎年、この時を覚え、イエス様と歩む事ができますようにお願いします。今日のクリスマス礼拝を感謝し、主イエス・キリストのお名前によってお祈り致します。　アーメン。

「Let the high praises of God be in their mouth,

　And a two-edged sword in their hand,」　Amen.

　Praise in the mouth, but a double-edged sword in the hand, what a surprise! Jesus also said this. Mat.

10:34 "Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword." True peace awaits those who repent of their sins and believe in Jesus. Sin must be cut off, not covered up. That is what the sword is for.
