「Let the high praises of God be in their mouth,

　And a two-edged sword in their hand,」　Amen.

　Praise in the mouth, but a double-edged sword in the hand, what a surprise! Jesus also said this. Mat.

10:34 "Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword." True peace awaits those who repent of their sins and believe in Jesus. Sin must be cut off, not covered up. That is what the sword is for.

　May our trust in the Lord increase today....

『彼らの口には　神への称賛があり

　彼らの手には　両刃の剣があるように。』

　口に賛美、しかし、手に両刃の剣、何だか驚きですね。イエス様は、こんなことも言われました。「マタ

10:34 わたしが来たのは地上に平和をもたらすためだ、と思ってはいけません。わたしは、平和ではなく剣をもたらすために来ました。」罪を悔い改め、イエス様を信じたその先に本当の平和が待っているのです。罪を覆い隠すのではなく、断ち切らなければなりません。その為の剣なのです。

　今日も、主への信頼が増しますように・・・。　

「Let them praise His name with the dance;

　Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp.」　　Amen.

　The prophetess Miriam, Moses' sister, took the tambourine and danced with everyone when God parted the waters of the Red Sea and saved the Israelites. For they were saved from a scene of death. The Apostle Peter wrote this in his letter. I Pet. 1:8, "whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory," When the heart is filled with love and faith, the heart leaps for joy.

　May the joy of the Lord be my joy today....

『踊りをもって　主の御名をほめたたえよ。

　タンバリンと竪琴に合わせて　主にほめ歌を歌え。』

　モーセの姉である預言者ミリアムは、神が紅海の水を分けてイスラエルの民を救ってくださった時に、タンバリンを手に取り、みんなで踊りました。死に瀕した場面から救われたからです。使徒ペテロは、手紙の中でこのように書きました。「Ⅰペテ1:8 あなたがたはイエス・キリストを見たことはないけれども愛しており、今見てはいないけれども信じており、ことばに尽くせない、栄えに満ちた喜びに躍っています。」心が愛で満たされ、信仰で満たされると、心は喜び躍るのです。

　今日も、主の喜びが我が喜びとなりますように・・・。　

「Let them praise the name of the Lord,

　For His name alone is exalted;

　His glory is above the earth and heaven.」　Amen.

　There are all kinds of people. There are those who praise themselves, others, and nature, but we must not stop there. There is a Creator who made them. That Creator sent Jesus into the world to save us through the love of the cross. Herein is love. Christmas is a day to celebrate the Nativity of Jesus, but it is also a day to know what it means.

　May today be another day to praise the Lord....

『【主】の御名をほめたたえよ。

　主の御名だけがあがめられる。

　その威光が地と天の上で。』

　いろいろな人がいます。自分を褒めたたえる人、他人を褒めたたえる人、自然を褒めたたえる人、しかし、そこで留まってはならないのです。それらを造られた創造主がおられる。その創造主が、イエス様をこの世に送られ、十字架の愛によって、私たちを救ってくださいました。ここに愛があるのです。クリスマスは、イエス様のご降誕を祝う日ですが、その意味を知る日でもあるのです。

　今日も、主を褒めたたえる一日となりますように・・・。　

『キリスト・イエスは罪人を救うために世に来られた」ということばは真実であり、そのまま受け入れるに値するものです。私はその罪人のかしらです。』

お祈り致します。

愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。この待降節の時期にまた深くイエス様の事を知ることができ感謝します。あなたは救い主として、私たちの罪を贖う為にお生まれになったことを、また新たに心に刻む事が出来ありがとうございます。イエス様がこの世に来られた本当の意味を知ることができますように一人一人をお導き願います。全世界が平和でありますように、このクリスマスの時期に戦いが終息し、平和が訪れますようにお願いします。今日の礼拝を感謝し、主イエス・キリストのお名前によってお祈り致します。　アーメン。

「He also established them forever and ever;

　He made a decree which shall not pass away.」　Amen.

　Even if a person who does not believe in God gives an endless stream of reasons for his or her unbelief, and even if he or she gives a rationale for his or her unbelief, God is still strictly present. Paul put it this way. "Romans 1:20  For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,"

　May we all be mindful of God the Creator today....

『主は　それらを世々限りなく立てられた。

　主は　去りゆくことのない定めを置かれた。』

　たとえ神を信じない人が、その理由を滔々と述べたとしても、その根拠を理路整然と語ったとしても、神は厳然としておられるのです。パウロは、このように言いました。「ロマ1:20 神の、目に見えない性質、すなわち神の永遠の力と神性は、世界が創造されたときから被造物を通して知られ、はっきりと認められるので、彼らに弁解の余地はありません。」

　今日も、創造主なる神様に心を寄せることができますように・・・。

『【主】の御名をほめたたえよ。

　主が命じて　それらは創造されたのだ。』

　朝、太陽が出て、夕方、太陽が沈む。月は新月と満月を怠りなく繰りかえす。春、夏、秋、冬と日本の四季は追い越すことなく順番に繰り返す。実に不思議である。人間の先祖が猿だと言われてもどこか納得いかないが、創造主なる神様が目的を持って造られたと聞くと合点がいく。全てを神様が創造されたと思うと、すべてが納得なのである。だから、私達がすべきことは、ただ神様に感謝だけである。

　今日も、主にただただ感謝できますように・・・。
