「The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,

　To all who call upon Him in truth.」　Amen.

　The Lord is near to those who believe in Him and call out to Him from the bottom of their hearts. The Bible says. Acts 17:27-28 "though He is not far from each one of us; "for in Him we live and move and have our being,"　The Lord is near to those who sincerely humble themselves and call upon Him in trust. As a God of grace, a God of love, and a God of comfort, He is close to us.

　May we be in touch with the Lord's will today.

『【主】は倒れる者をみな支え

　かがんでいる者をみな起こされます。』

　神様は、私たちを救う為に、天からこの地上へと降りてこられました。私達が何もしなくても、神様の方から近づいてきて下さったのです。目には見えなくても、手に触れなくても、耳に聞こえなくても、現存しておられるのです。信じようと信じまいと神様は全てを造り、所有し、支配されておられるのです。実に神様は私たちのすぐそばにおられるのです。

　今日も、主を近くに感じることができますように・・・。　

「The Lord upholds all who fall,

　And raises up all who are bowed down.」　Amen.

　God came down from heaven to this earth to save us. Even without us doing anything, God approached us. Even though unseen, untouched, and unheard, God exists. Whether we believe it or not, God created, possesses, and rules over everything. Truly, God is right beside us.

May I be able to feel the presence of the Lord close to me today as well.

「The Lord is gracious and full of compassion,

　Slow to anger and great in mercy.」　Amen.　

  If God were impatient, I would have long ceased to exist. The multitude of my sins would have been swiftly judged. However, the fact that I, a sinful being, am able to dwell in peace is solely due to God's grace. The patient and tolerant nature of God watches over and protects us, reaching far beyond our imagination. Truly, God is full of compassion, mercy, slow to anger, and abounding in grace.

May I be able to give thanks for the boundless grace of the Lord today as well.

『人は息にすぎず

　その日々は影のように過ぎ去ります。』

　今私は７２年生きていますが、人類の誕生の歴史から考えると微々たるものです。人類への貢献から考えても皆無に等しいものです。そんな小さな微々たる存在の私を選び、救い、生きた者として下さったのは、ただただ神の恵み、憐れみでしかありません。その日々は影のように過ぎ去っていきますが、いつでもどこでも信仰の創始者であリ、完成者なるイエス様を見上げつつ過していきたいものです。

　今日も、主と共に歩むことができますように・・・。　

「Man is like a breath;

　His days are like a passing shadow.」　Amen.　

　I have now lived for 72 years, which is a tiny fraction of the history of the birth of mankind. In terms of my contribution to humanity, I am nothing at all. It is only God's grace and mercy that chose me, saved me, and made me a living being from such a small and insignificant existence. The days pass like shadows, but I want to spend them always and everywhere looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.　May we walk with the Lord today.

『【主】は情け深く　あわれみ深く

　怒るのに遅く　恵みに富んでおられます。』

　もしも、神様が短気だったら、とっくに私という存在は、消え去っていたことでしょう。数多くの罪がすぐに裁かれていたことでしょう。しかしながら、罪深い私がこうして平安の内に過ごしているのは、ひとえに神様の恵みなのです。気の長い神様は、気の遠くなるような忍耐と寛容を持って、私たちを守り、見続けているのです。　

実に、情け深く、憐れみ深く、怒るのに遅く、恵みに富んだお方なのです。

　今日も、主の限りない恵みに感謝できますように・・・。

『2:15 神である【主】は人を連れて来て、エデンの園に置き、そこを耕させ、また守らせた。

2:16 神である【主】は人に命じられた。「あなたは園のどの木からでも思いのまま食べてよい。

2:17 しかし、善悪の知識の木からは、食べてはならない。その木から食べるとき、あなたは必ず死ぬ。」』

お祈りします。

愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。神様は、愛する対象として私たちを造られました。しかし、サタンの誘惑によって神様から身を隠すという罪を犯してしまいました。しかしながら、愛なる神様は、私たちを救う為にイエス様をこの世にお遣わしになりました。イエス様が私たちの身代わりとなって十字架に架けられ、血潮を流し、死んで墓に葬られ、三日目に蘇えったことによって、私たちに永遠の命を希望を与えて下さって感謝します。この世を生活しながら、信仰の創始者であり完成者であるイエスから、目を離さないでいなさいで、過ごすことができますようにお導き願います。今日の礼拝を感謝し、主イエス・キリストのお名前によってお祈り致します。アーメン。

『わが岩なる【主】が　ほめたたえられますように。

　戦いのために私の手を

　戦のために私の指を鍛えられる方が。』

　表題は、「ダビデによる」と書かれています。ダビデは、自分の手や指を見つめたのでしょうか。ゴリヤテとの戦いを思い出したのでしょうか。巨人ゴリヤテは身長が６キュビト半ですので、ほぼ３メートル、紅顔の美少年ダビデは、ゴリヤテの半分程度でしょうか。まさに、「蟷螂之斧」状態でした。でも勝ったのはダビデでした。「この戦いは主の戦いだ」という明確な信仰があったのです。

　今日も、主の戦いに踏み出すことができますように・・・。　　　

「Blessed be the Lord my Rock,

　Who trains my hands for war,

　And my fingers for battle-」　　Amen.

　The title says, "By David." Did David gaze at his own hands and fingers? Did he recall the battle with  Goliath, the giant, was approximately 3 meters tall, while the fair-faced youth David was about half his size. It was truly a situation of "courageous but doomed resistance" However, it was David who emerged victorious. He had a strong faith, believing firmly that "the battle is the Lord's"

　May I be able to step into the battles of the Lord today.
