『私は御前に自分の嘆きを注ぎ出し

　私の苦しみを御前に言い表します。』

　ここでは、自分の嘆きを注ぎだす祈りと自分の苦しみを言い表す祈りが語られています。嘆きの祈りは、隠さず、さらけ出す告白の祈りであり、苦しみを言い表す祈りは、自分に何が必要なのかを見極める祈りでもあります。そんな祈りは平穏の中では生まれないようです。危機的状況に追い込まれた時に神様に叫ぶ祈りの中で生まれるようです。

　今日も、主に叫ぶように祈ることができますように・・・。　

「I pour out my complaint before Him;

　I declare before Him my trouble.」　Amen.

　Here we are told of a prayer to pour out one's lament and a prayer to express one's suffering. The prayer of lament is a prayer of confession that does not hide but exposes, and the prayer that expresses suffering is a prayer to discern what one needs. Such prayers do not seem to be born in peace. It seems to be born in the prayers that we cry out to God when we are in a crisis situation.　May we pray today as we cry out to the Lord.

『声をあげて　私は【主】に叫びます。

　声をあげて　私は【主】にあわれみを乞います。』

　表題には、「ダビデのマスキール。ダビデが洞窟にいた時に。祈り」と書かれてあります。「マスキール」とは、意味不明なのですが、「教訓詩」との説もあります。この時、ダビデはサウル王に追われて、アドラムの洞窟やエン・ゲディの要害に身を隠していました。追うのは一国の王様、逃げるのは一介の青年、ダビデは身の縮む思いをしたことでしょう。命の危険を何度も味わったことでしょう。大声で祈ることしかなかったのです。

　今日も、主に真実な祈りができますように・・・。　

「I cry out to the Lord with my voice;

　With my voice to the Lord I make my supplication.」　Amen.

　The title reads, "Maschil of David. A prayer when David was in the cave." The meaning of "Maschil" is unclear, but it is believed to be a "Didactic Psalm" or "Instructive Psalm". At this time, David was being pursued by King Saul and he sought refuge in the caves of Adullam and the strongholds of En Gedi. David, a young man fleeing from a king, must have felt a great fear and experienced the imminent danger to his life. All he could do was pray aloud.

『私の主　【神】よ

　まことに　私の目はあなたに向いています。

　私はあなたに身を避けています。

　私のたましいを危険にさらさないでください。』

　「危険にさらさないでください」と祈っています。神様の全面的な守りがあるならば、そんな祈りは出てこないように思えますが、信頼を寄せれば寄せる程、また疑いも増すのです。信頼と疑いの葛藤の中から真の祈りはでてくるのです。私たちは十字架の血潮によって罪赦された者ですが、それで終わりではなく、絶えず十字架の下で祈らせられるのです。

　今日も、祈る一日となりますように・・・。

『私の主　【神】よ

　不法を行う者たちとともに

　悪い行いに携わらないようにしてください。

　私が彼らのごちそうを

　食べないようにしてください。』

　何か危機的な出来事が目の前で起こると、平常心がなくなったり、悪い方へと考えてしまいがちですが、ここでは、「私の心を悪に向けさせず」と、祈っています。出来事の中に飲み込まれたり、流されたり、傾いたりしますが、ちょっと深呼吸をして、上を見上げ、「主よ」と祈ると道が開けてくるのです。「箴言4:23 何を見張るよりも、あなたの心を見守れ。いのちの泉はこれから湧く。」

　今日も、主によって守られますように・・・。　

「Do not incline my heart to any evil thing,

　To practice wicked works　

　With men who work iniquity;

　And do not let me eat of their delicacies.」　Amen.

　When some critical event happens in front of us, we tend to lose our normal mind and think in the wrong direction, but here Psalmist pray, "Do not incline my heart to any evil thing.” We can be swallowed up, swept away, or inclined in the midst of events, but if we take a deep breath, look up, and pray, "Lord," we will find a way. (Proverbs 4:23)「Keep your heart with all diligence,For out of it spring the issues of life.」　May you be protected by the Lord today.

『【主】よ私の口に見張りを置き

　私の唇の戸を守ってください。』

　ヤコブは、舌をコントロール出来る者は、人生をコントロール出来ると言われました。言わなくてもいいことを口走ったり、言わなければならないことを言いそびれたリ、なかなかうまくいきません。この詩人は、そんな人間の弱さをしっかりと認識していたのでしょう。見張りを置き、守ってくださいと祈ったのです。実に賢明な祈りです。

　今日も、主に守ってもらえますように・・・。　

「Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth;

　Keep watch over the door of my lips.」　Amen.

　Jacob said that he who can control his tongue can control his life. It is not always easy to say what needs to be said, or to fail to say what needs to be said. The psalmist must have been well aware of such human weakness. He placed a watchman and prayed for protection. It is a very wise prayer.

　May the Lord protect us today.
