「Like a flitting sparrow,

　like a flying swallow,

　So a curse without cause shall not alight.」  Amen.

The Living Bible translates it this way: “Just as sparrows and swallows do no harm to anyone as long as they fly about in their flight. so it does no good to curse someone without a reason.”The urge to curse happens to everyone, to a greater or lesser extent. “I wish they'd disappear!” “You should die!” “I wish something bad would happen to you!” But Jesus gave me love, not curses, for my sinfulness. That is what makes me alive today.

『逃げる雀のように、

　飛び去る燕のように、

　理由なしに、のろいが来ることはない。』

　リビングバイブルでは、このように訳しています。「雀やつばめは、すいすい飛び回っている限りだれにも害を与えないように、理由もなく人を呪っても、少しも効き目はありません」呪う気持ちは、大なり小なり、誰にも起こるものです。「いなくなればいい！」「死ねばいい！」「何か悪い事でも起こればいい！」でも、そんな罪深い私に、呪いではなく愛を、イエス様は与えて下さいました。そのことが今の私を活かしているのです。

　今日も、主に寄り添うことができますように・・・。　

『エペ2:10 実に、私たちは神の作品であって、良い行いをするためにキリスト・イエスにあって造られたのです。神は、私たちが良い行いに歩むように、その良い行いをあらかじめ備えてくださいました。』

　私たちは神の作品なのです。この事を知ると人生が違って見えてくるのです。今まで価値があるものと思っていたことが、パウロのように、「ピリ3:8 それどころか、私の主であるキリスト・イエスを知っていることのすばらしさのゆえに、私はすべてを損と思っています。私はキリストのゆえにすべてを失いましたが、それらはちりあくただと考えています。」このように人生が変えられるのです。

お祈りします。

愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。私たちが創造主なる神様から造られた者、神の作品であることを知ると、見える世界が違ってきます。この世で価値あるものとされたものがちりあくたに感じられてくるのです。イエス様の素晴らしさを身に覆いながらこの世を過ごすことができますようにお導き願います。いつも信仰の創始者であり、完成者なるイエス様から目を離すことなく、過す事ができますように、すべてが益と変えられることを信じて、過す事ができますようにお願いします。

今日の礼拝を感謝し、すべてを感謝し、主イエス・キリストのお名前によってお祈りします。ｱｰﾒﾝ。

「Whoever has no rule over his own spirit

　Is like a city broken down, without walls.」　Amen.

Controlling one's mind can be difficult. There is always a battle between self-control and desire in the mind. For some, self-control always wins, and for others, desire may always win. But if you can't control it, it is a city without walls, a city that has been broken down. Intruders can come from anywhere at any time and destroy it. When we receive Christ on the throne of our hearts, we will have a new sense of self-control.

　May we walk with the Lord today....

『自分の霊を制することができない人は、

　城壁のない、打ち破られた町。』

　自分の心をコントロールするのは難しいものです。いつも心の中で自制と欲望の戦いがあります。ある人はいつも自制が勝ち、亦ある人は、いつも欲望が勝っているかもしれません。でも、コントロールできないと、城壁のない町、打ち破られた町だというのです。侵入者は、いつでもどこからでもやってきて、滅ぼしてしまうのです。心の王座にキリストを迎えると、新しい意味の自己コントロールができることでしょう。

　今日も、主と共に歩むことができますように・・。　

「As cold water to a weary soul,

　So is good news from a far country.」　Amen.

　It is nice to hear good news. A person we thought was dead is alive. A disease that you thought could never be cured is cured. A school you thought you would never get into was accepted. It is good news that brings back to life the heart that had been sinking. The gospel is also good news. The cross of Jesus also saved me from sin and led me to eternal life. He clearly showed me the purpose of life.

　May we stand by the cross today....

『遠い国からの良い消息は、

　疲れたたましいへの冷たい水。』

　良い消息は嬉しいものです。死んだと思っていた人が生きていた。治らないと思っていた病気が治った。受からないと思っていた学校に受かった。今まで沈んでいた心が生き返るような良い知らせです。福音もグッドニュースです。イエス様の十字架も、私を罪から救い、永遠の命へと導いてくださったのです。生きる目的を明確に示して下ったからです。

　今日も、十字架の傍に立つことができますように・・・。　

「If your enemy is hungry,

　give him bread to eat;

　And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink;」　 Amen.

　Even if they are not enemies, there are people nearby that we don't like, don't like, or don't like. What should we do about such people? The Bible says, “Do good without letting your feelings get in the way.” and “Do not try to get something by yourself, but leave the rest to God,” and you will pile burning coals on his head. In the past, when a fire went out, a neighbor would come over with a burning coal fire on his head to start a fire. He said that they must be able to help him.

『あなたを憎む者が飢えているなら、

　渇いているなら、水を飲ませよ。』

　敵とまではいかなくても、苦手な人、気が合わない人、嫌いな人は近くにいるものです。そんな人に対して、どうするか。聖書ではこう言うのです。「感情に流されずに善を行え」、「自分の力で何かを得ようとはせずに、後は神に委ねよ」そうすると、彼の頭に燃える炭火を積むことになるというのです。昔、火が消えると隣の人が頭に燃える炭火を乗せてやってきて火をおこしていたのです。きっと助けてくれるに違いないと言うのです。

　今日も、隣リ人の為に祈ることができますように・・・。

「Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble

　Is like a bad tooth and a foot out of joint.」　Amen.

It is not only people who betray you. It may be money, title, position, or power. Isaiah said, “Sever yourselves from such a man,Whose breath is in his nostrils;For of what account is he?” Jeremiah also said this. (Jeremiah 33:3) “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” (Psalm 50:15) “Call upon Me in the day of trouble;I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”

　May we ask the Lord to help us today....
