In this episode, we consider the readings for Proper 21, Year A:
Exodus 17:1-7 & Psalm 78:1-4, 12-16; Ezekiel 18:1-4, 25-32 & Psalm 25:1-8; Philippians 2:1-13; Matthew 21:23-32.
We discuss the Lord's desire that all should turn and live: through His provision of water at Massah and Meribah, Ezekiel's invitation to repentance, and through Jesus' parable to the religious leaders. We also consider Paul's presentation of Christian humility.
