This week I got a little blown away to be able to get in touch with a musician I've been following for a long old while now and that is Mega Ran! Raheem Jarbo under his stage name Mega Ran is a rapper, hip hop artist, DJ, producer...you name it he's done it.
Having been around in the game of music and art for years he's a regular on my playlist and is heavily known in the chiptune, nerdcore communities but is also deeply immersed in the underground rap scene an artist firmly with a foot in two world we establish.
Having just released another album "Live '95" we talk the culture, what it means to be part of those two worlds and why they have grown to be distinct and overall the importance of making music for yourself.
Touching on the risk of early burn out and that truly to make an impact you have to love what you're doing. As soon as you lose that you'll lose project and passion to complete what you began.
