There are many fascinating documentaries that show us the inner workings of things. It is amazing what man has come up with in technology and industry. But the most fascinating working device on the planet is your brain. And man can’t take any credit for that. Mankind has forever been trying to figure it out. Today we will take a simple look at our brains to help us move forward in our journey of life. Onward!

Tick tock tick tock every moment of the day brings a decision. Will I walk in the light of God or in the darkness of the world? Will I be conformed to the world or transformed by the renewing of my mind? We always have a choice. Victory is always just a thought away but so often there are obstacles getting in the way. It is first a choice of accepting Jesus as Lord and then continuing on a journey with him. Let’s take another step forward/

Have you ever looked through a telescope? They are designed to enable us to see things at a distance and focus on one particular point. My question today is what are you looking at ? what is your focus? What you look at on a regular basis influences who you are you.
They can form a foundation for your identity. What is your foundation?

Years ago I wrote a book entitled “every thought of the heart” a seed, a thread, a step. It is a book on the renewed mind, on how our minds should work according to Scripture. Towards the end of the book I make the statement I wrote this book not because I know it all but because I need it all. I am a work in progress as we all are. Many of us have traumas in our past unfortunately that past may only be a week old. We are in a fight, a battle, a war. Our enemy will not give up until he is finally thrown into the pit. So we also must never give up. Though we are in that war we are victorious. In todays podcast I teach a very important practice; how to declare and meditate on the truth. Give a listen.

God bless you and welcome back to yesterday ended I'm your host Dennis Dobbin. Thanks for joining me again today.

In today’s podcast we will take a look at Jesus, because where you look and what you look at is what you become. We’ll find out today that we bare a striking resemblance to Jesus and as we accept his work for us and take it to us we will be changed more and more to a closer image of him in our lives. Hopefully you will never look at yourself again in relation to anything bad from your past. It says in

(2 Corinthians 5:21)
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

In this verse we see an exchange, our sin for his righteousness. We are not who we used to be. Today we are as he is.

God bless you I'm your host Dennis Dobbin welcome back to yesterday ended and thanks for joining me today. Last week I spoke of our continued battle to recognize our victory that we have  in Christ. One of our greatest weapons in that battle is the realization that our old man is dead. We have been set free from his death and decay by the work of the cross. Our work is not to bleed but to believe in the blood of Jesus and how we are cleansed by him. Cleansed so we can stand in the presence of the Father without shame or condemnation. Your old life has died and today we will look at being dead to sin. My poem today is entitled,

It’s all about being dead.

I have to say I  have the blessing in my life that I've never been in a big fist fight. In junior high there was one punch that didn't do much to me and another where a kid tried to kick me and I was able to deflect it. The sad reality of life is that we are constantly in a fight with a very real enemy. The problem is will we have the strength and will to fight back?

A greater problem is too many people ignore the fight or worse deny it. No wonder so many people look beat up. We need to learn to fight back and that is my intent for today's episode

Victory now Abounds

So What is your point of view about your life?

Are you looking down from your heavenly seat in Christ as a member of a royal priesthood or are you all alone looking up a a mountain you can’t climb? How we view our lives will determine the fruitfulness we can obtain. In this episode we will learn about changing our point of view and start living without measure.

The king and queen have entered the throne room and they look marvelous. And that’s you.  Ya you, you’re royalty. Thanks for stopping by and joining me today.  In this episode we’ll look at a part of our identity that can really change our attitude of who we have been made by Christ. You’re a royal priesthood. Now sit up straight on your throne and give a listen.

In this episode we will take a few more steps towards putting the challenges of our past to rest by recognizing we are a new Creation. I’ve got a few analogies that will give you a great mind picture of who you are now. Yesterday Ended and with it our old man. We’ll also take look at the Apostle Paul and how he handled his past. Time to move forward into a new day and a new life. Lets get started.
