My VERY special guest today is my yoga teacher and good friend, Caley A. We sat down for an amazing conversation about yoga nidra and how it can play a role in weight loss. 


On its surface, yoga nidra might seem like just another stress relief technique, but Caley is going to walk us through the science that makes it really potent.


As the instructor behind the Academy of Yogic Sleep, Caley has been featured on major platforms like Alo Yoga, Beachbody, and Mindbodygreen. She’s also MY yoga teacher, which makes this an episode particularly close to my heart.


Because of all the deep thought work we do in coaching, we spend a lot of time in our heads. I knew it was time to bring yoga nidra to the Yum Mums, and like Kismet, Caley and I reconnected just in time to collab on this episode.

Yoga nidra created profound effects in MY life, especially postpartum, and I attribute my yoga nidra practice to being able to repair my nervous system (which was jacked, y’all) and be present for my kids during those rough postpartum days.
