In today’s episode let’s reflect back on some POWERFUL AND WISE messages shared by previous guests.
This year has been a difficult one for all of us. While I saw people posting about their struggles with mental health, depression, anxiety; I decided to begin podcasting to bring out stories of people around who are fighting their own battles and yet practicing self care and self love. Who have reasons in life to complain and yet they find ways to be grateful.
In today’s episode we will be looking back at a few conversations about self love
When we know or understand the why behind things, it leads to clarity and enables us to chalk out a path. This indeed is the reason behind having a purpose to our actions, to our days, to our lives.
Today at you are human, as we embark on the journey of our 29th episode, let’s listen to some of our previous guest talk about their purpose, their callings.
Last year after I quit my job, I went to Auroville for a yoga program and thereafter I ended up volunteering in Sadhana Forest.
It’s there where I was introduced to the concept of ‘Unlearning’. At the evening Q&A session, with the founder of Sadhana Forest ‘Aviram Rozin’, I understood that ‘all my life I have been striving to learn, but here I am attempting to unlearn so that I can relearn life concepts in the most honest and human ways’.
Today at You are Human, the process of unlearning is going to unfold itself through the experience and wisdom of my Guest. This episode is a very special one as he is one the most amazing Yoga teachers that I have practiced with. Mohammed Dohadwala, a committed yogi who started practicing yoga when he was 39 years of age.
Like most Yogis, he started with an active physical practice and found that it quickly moved into being a mindful and spiritual practice. While Mohammed’s initial education includes an engineering degree from IIT Bombay and an MBA from IIM Calcutta along with a few investment credentials, his journey to self discovery began with the serendipity of yoga. In this episode he talks about his expectations from himself, contribution of yoga in his life, men’s mental health and so effortlessly explains the concept of Active Surrendering.
‘You are Enough’ – this phrase is being used more than ever. In a world where we are constantly seeking validation, we also are promoting the idea of self love and choosing ourselves first for the better.
Today at You are human, we have someone who says ‘why survive when you can thrive’ which indeed makes sense.
She has dedicated her life to her purpose which is to make others aware of their full potential and experience self-actualization.
In this episode she talks about her Personal battle with bullying and depression which played an integral part in her becoming a professional counselor.
Having lost a few loved ones, She explains the 5 stages of grief and how she heals herself along creating awareness about mental health , breaking stigmas and reiterating how we are all a ‘Work in progress’
She is Sura Al Muscati and this is her story
