Then it's squabble time (28:09)! A 29 y.o. woman writes in to ask if ghosting is ever OK. She went out with a guy once, didn't return his feelings, but didn't tell him that. Dara and Kunal are STOKED to be back with a new guest: Matthew Broussard! Originally from Texas and Atlanta, Matthew is a very funny comedian who now lives amongst the rest of us in NYC. He's appeared on Comedy Central, Conan O'Brien, and created a puzzle app called Monday Punday, which is also his IG handle! (@mondaypunday)

They start the episode by discussing Matt's recent engagement, where SHE proposed to HIM (1:10)! What a time to be alive! After many wedding discussions re: food, locations, and "band or DJ" (13:36), they dive into the new segment, Hot Takes & Wild Debates: Weddings on Holiday Weekends (15:14). Dara takes the Anti position, Kunal takes Pro. They make their arguments, then Matt gets to weigh in and be the tie-breaker. Who do you stand with?! 

Then, it's squabble time (21:31)! Another one we yanked off of Reddit, this was written by a young woman who has been dating her boyfriend for one year and maintains that his family hates her. They talk smack behind her back AND make snide remarks to her face, but they invited her on a girls trip with the ladies of the family. She said no without even giving it a second thought and thinks her BF is overreacting by being upset about it at all. She thinks they don't need to like her or vice versa. What do you think?? New year, new format! Dara and Kunal are back with a solo (duo?) episode. No guests, no BS. Just kidding of course there is BS. 

We're saying goodbye to FMK's for now and introducing a new original segment, Hot Takes & Wild Debates (:40)! We take one topic or two related topics, and we each pick a side or pick an item to fight for. For example, Uber vs Lyft, McDonalds vs Burger King, weddings on holidays, things like that.

So this week, we are tackling BEC's vs SEC's (bacon egg and cheese vs sausage egg and cheese), Dara is Team BEC and Kunal is Team SEC (3:25). The best part? YOU get to weigh in and tell us who you agree with on our IG in the comments (@youbothsuckpodcast).

Dara and Kunal are back with another amazing guest, comedian Shane Torres! Shane has performed all over the world and recently released a special on YouTube, produced by Bert and LeeAnn Kreischer, The Blue Eyed Mexican. Check it out here! 

They start the episode with a Cereal Mascot FMK (8:52), leading Kunal to bring up the very good point re: the lack of female cereal mascots. Then we jump into the squabble, which was pulled this week from a popular Reddit thread (19:14)! 

Gender is ambiguous (but we lean towards a woman) who wrote in about her daughter's boyfriend cleaning their kitchen and complaining about the messiness of it. On top of that, the BF tried to mansplain how to properly clean a compost bucket. The mom snapped and asked the BF to leave. The daughter then asked the mom to apologize to her BF. Dara and Kunal are welcome another EPIC guest this week, Kyle Marcoux aka @thevulgarchef. An OG of IG, he's a madman in the kitchen, a culinary wizard (or hazard), and hilarity ensues no matter what. Check him out on IG and YouTube if you're brave enough.

We start the episode strong with a canned foods FMK: Chef Boyardee Ravioli, Spaghettios, and Spam (8:18). We also discuss Kyle's various creations, like the Rain Sandwich and the Spaghettios Candle.

Then we jumped right into the squabble of the day (13:18)! A man, 28, in NYC wrote in about a Secret Santa gift gone awry. He gave a platonic/hot lesbian friend lingerie because she started seeing a new girl (also a hot lesbian, in his words). He thought this was a funny gift and meant it as a compliment, but she thought it was creepy/over the line and demanded a new gift. Was he wrong for buying something so personal for a friend? Is it really ever ok to buy someone lingerie if you're not dating them? Listen and find out!

Dara and Kunal are back with an absolute banger of an episode! Cookbook author and hilarious content creator Rossella Rago joins us on the pod and she does not hold back! Dara and Kunal are back with a new type of episode! In between the Squabbles, there are the Sunday Scaries IG stories with some pretty unique polls goin down. Well, "unique" is putting it nicely. They have received messages like "you guys are sick" and "this is just wrong," so they thought it was time to dig into those a little bit more and make a whole episode out of it! 

In today's episode, they chose 5 polls to break down:

- Who sucks more? Paragraph texters or short but multiple line texters? (3:00) 

There's also a new FMK for this one - they call it "FMGK: F*, Marry, Goomah, K!ll." If you're unfamiliar, "Goomah" is a slang term in Italian meaning your side piece/mistress. You're welcome. - What's a bigger red flag? Being besties with their ex or constantly checking their phone? (10:55)

- What's more socially acceptable? Ketchup on Pizza or Ketchup on Steak? (22:15)

They were consistently dating for 2 months and spoke every day, but she knew what this was (for the most part). After a troublesome night with him, she ended things and he stormed out/disappeared. She's now seeing a good man, but toxic no-bed-man popped back up with a dinner invite. Did she go?? Does he suck? Listen and find out!

Dara and Kunal are joined on the pod by special guest, Jeremy Jacobowitz! Jeremy is a food content creator in NYC and one of the "OG" Instagram influencers (in fact, that's how he and Dara met). Then, it's time for the Squabble of the Day (15:55)! A woman in her mid-30's, Chicago, writes in about how she found out she was not included in her former roommate's wedding ceremony, but was invited to the reception. She claims that the other friends that were present at the ceremony were no closer than she is with her, so why did they get an invite and she didn't? It made her feel like she didn't matter. While we don't know the motive, we do know that this happens a lot in the age of social media, and it's a tricky thing to approach. Will she sound like a baby if she says something? Should she say anything at all? Is this stuff really as bad as we make it? Listen and find out!

In this festive episode, Dara and Kunal are talking all things Thanksgiving and Football!
