Dara and Kunal are back with another episode AND a new guest! Comedian Casey Balsham takes a seat on the green couch for this week's episode (:21) and brings some strong opinions, especially surrounding the topics of shoehorns and the fact that her husband may or may not be wearing a ladies jacket. And that's exactly what this listener did, so THANK YOU for that! This woman, 29, from LA, wrote in about a problem from a year or so ago, when she was still living in NYC. She matched with a guy on Hinge a few months before her move to LA, and things were going swimmingly (or so she thought) for their first few dates. He seemed great, they had a lot in common, they even trauma bonded over their toxic exes! She also took him to see Aziz Ansari, and then he didn't even text or reach out on her birthday shortly thereafter.  Well wouldn't ya know it, he fell off the face of the earth. Ahhh tale as old as time. She texted him and asked what was going on, rightfully so, and turns out he went back to his toxic ex! Why is she attracted to a cheater in the first place, and does that make HER a bad person? And if she knows she gets attached after having sex, is a one night stand really something she just needs to "get better at" or is she just not ready? Dara and Kunal are back with another JOLLY episode of solving debates and deciding who sucks!!

Starting things off nice and strong with FMK: NYC Adjacent Places (0:30). Westchester, Long Island, and NJ. They know it's gonna get ugly and they're ok with it. Then, Dara threw out a Gen Z Slang Quiz to Kunal (3:55) and you'll have to listen to see whether he passed or failed. This also might have gotten ugly, who knows. Then it's time for the Squabble of the Day (12:03)! A female in her late 20's in NYC writes in with a tale of a rough holiday. Her boyfriend of almost one year (at that point) invited her to spend Christmas with his family in upstate New York, and they couldn't take a train there because she has a big dog, so they had to rent a car. The boyfriend goes to rent the car from JFK and discovers you need a credit card to rent a car. Plot twist: he does not have one! At the age of 34! Fighting ensues and there is an extra character added to the mix to make things even more interesting: a "double orphan" friend who drove them MANY HOURS to the BF's upstate home (let's just say Kunal has a lot of feelings about the double orphan). Ultimately, they need to decide if the BF sucks for not having a credit card or if the writer sucks for yelling at him/getting into a fight about it. What do you think?? Listen and find out!

Dara and Kunal are back with another episode of helping people tackle confusing conflicts! This time, it's about that friend who pops back up only when they're single again, BUT FIRST, it's FMK: NYC Tourist Attractions (:48). Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, World Trade Center. Then, they get into the ever-increasing problem of very long movies like Oppenheimer (3:45) and why Dara hates them. And Kunal thinks she's insane (what else is new). 

Then it's time for the Squabble of the Day! (9:36) A female in her mid-30's writes in about a friend of a similar age (who is "barely a friend" at this point) who always pops back up into her life when she's single again begging to hang out. The friend blames mental health for her absence, which is fair, but she has done this multiple times over about a decade. At what point does the writer say enough is enough? Is it even her job to say that?? And at what point do you question if therapy even works for some people? We debate it ALL and then decide who sucks in the scenario! Then Dara shares a "date night restaurant recommendation" she gave to Kunal that he loved but cannot pronounce (3:28), followed by a discussion about Dara's irrational fear of shrimp heads (7:15).

Then, onto the Squabble of the Day! (10:00) This submission comes from a woman in her 30's who cut off a "good friend" after she had her as a bridesmaid in her wedding. The friend/bridesmaid in question is the type to not text first, doesn't double text, and doesn't show much enthusiasm when planning a hang, so the writer decided it was time to pull back and see if the friend would reach out. Spoiler alert: she did not! Was this friendship just on its way out or is there more to it than that? Who sucks in this scenario? Listen and find out!

The Marinara in question contained your usual ingredients (tomatoes, garlic, etc) but ADDED IN a few ROGUE ELEMENTS like MAPLE SYRUP, BALSAMIC VINEGAR, CREAMY ITALIAN DRESSING, AND A PINCH OF GROUND MUSTARD. While the ingredients are indeed bizarre, was it his job as a coworker to call this guy out? Did the coworker have to resort to name-calling? Who sucks?! Listen and find out! The submission comes from a mid-30's woman in NYC who shares that her best friend of over 10 years has started ghosting her multiple times over the last few years for seemingly no reason. The friend then popped up recently to apologize (via text), only to ghost AGAIN after the writer responded. Kunal thinks something really bad happened to spark the fight between them, while Dara thinks that the friend just doesn't put the right effort into her friendships.
