As a reader, you'll bring in your own sorrows, happiness, and problems and what you take away is a feeling of love, peace and spiritual growth. It inspires you to understand God's word and making that application to life. Robin Zaruba's book, "God Is" IS that lift you're looking for. A Refreshing Spiritual Journey

This devotional gives a creative, open-minded perspective on who God is for each and every one of us. The poetry is moving, the personal experiences are relatable, and the explanations are truly eye-opening. I have used several of the included prayers on multiple occasions, and I feel that my relationship with God has been strengthened through the ministry provided in this book.

A thirty day devotional worth repeating

Robin is a lyricist and a good one. His poetic style comes through on each of these daily readings. Iâm particularly fond of this one line: âHe calls from the land of tomorrow, âI am already here, and all is wellâ.â That is quite a statement to ponder, for it is easy to forget that our God already knows how it is all going to work out. This is just one example of the refreshing point of view Robin delivers about the many facets of the mighty God we serve. I found myself recalling personal experiences that perfectly agree with many of these characterizations of what âGod Isâ. I expect that I will recall some of these depictions of what âGod Isâ as I move through future experiences. This is an easy book to read in that the offerings are delivered daily in nice size morsels that leave the reader with a lot to chew on.

Heart Felt Depiction of the Christian Life

Chapter 1: Consider your Sowing

The Author, Pastor of the Revivalist Fellowship the Oasis Tabernacle in Sugarcreek Ohio sets out his apostolic cry for the Church to return to holiness. This is not a religious, competitive form so often presented but one of deep surrender to Jesus Christ with his perfections manifesting through us, the empty vessel.

Considering âsowingâ is the subject dealt with in this first chapter. The ground conditions, the power of the Word, sowing seeds and the issues about the use of words is brought in from the very beginning.

Identifying the issue of Israelâs spies in relation to the Promised Land is placed under the consideration of the battle between heart and mind! In this context the Author deals with realisations and the awaiting of the Believer to the true Word of God supernaturally given. Obedience is the key here with reference to Deuteronomy 28, the casting upon the Lord of care and the admission of individual weakness which breaks curse and bondage. An open fellowship will allow the confessing of fault without danger to the confessor.

Kings David and Solomon experiences Godâs blessings but it was clear that these Kings had personal weaknesses, David with Bathsheba and Solomon who went after other gods.

In this context comes the fear of God and with this comes responsibility and admission, Paul being prepared to even lose his own âstature.â It was to be with him a sowing to the Spirit rather than the flesh, a far cry from what is being witnessed today with the so called âChurchâ wallowing in evil worship that maintains an African beat of frenzy to a congregation intent on being entertained rather than submitting to God.

Chapter 2: Healing of the Land

An observation of the Author of there being a lack of God fearing nations is the initial approach here, the antichrist principles of reliance of manâs reasoning coming into place here placing nations under a curse. In amongst all this is the charitable acts of trying to feed the poor yet the mission orientated dealing with sin, the sin of corruption is clearly the key in releasing the worldâs resources to everybody.

The World, however and this includes âchurchesâ is obsessed with programmes rather than moving by faith with the use of materialism and modern enticements. The Tree of Knowledge seems to be âKingâ with the enticement of flesh honouring entertainments, leaders bound by Adamic reasoning, the Hellenism, knowledge and reason of the Greek philosophers.

An observation from an entertainer is given in that Vegas Casinos are crying out for ministry whilst the Church cries out for entertainment.
