this was a book of relationships that were different than the usual romantic stories.the book was different from the usual romance stories.

Santonu Dhar's novel ' Life of Love' - that's the book that kept me busy over the seemingly boring weekend. It is a beautiful love story which has just a few characters in it, all playing their parts well.

Santonu's efforts as a first time writer are brilliant and I must say that he has done justice to the whole art of writing.

What makes this book different is that it connects with you like none other. The characters reach out to you as they sing and dance and talk. The scenic beauty of India invites you as you read through the journey that your characters are having. When Sarah blushes on seeing John, you blush too. When Sarah cries, you weep too. When William looks at Sarah, you know he likes her but you can't tell her because you are not in the story, you are merely living it through the people in it.

To put it in simple words, Santonu takes you to a different world where everything is nice and romantic, but then there is the big twist in the tale! And you see yourself weeping your heart out. You are as indecisive as the characters and you can do nothing but to wait for them to spell out their thoughts so that you can heave a sigh of relief!

Beautiful book about life and love. And I read this book non stop as I enjoyed it that much!

First of all I will say that this book is so vivid and real in the story, I had to remind myself that it was fiction. The storyline was very realistic. Reading this book took me to another place and it was an interesting get away.

What I like is that the book is very realistic and not like a fairy tale kind of love story.

Getting better

This is the fourth book in the series and by far the most developed. There are still issues with a very immature dialogue, but the characters grow on you over the series.

The story feels more like a CW show and has some very cheesy moments. I have grown to love Corny and her friends, despite my complaints. This book gets a bit more into her business and her relationship with Steve. I was hoping for a bit more drama with the ex. That was solved way too quickly for my way of thinking.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Christy Williamson, who is not the right fit for this book. She has a very youthful voice that would be better suited for YA reads. While she has great energy, it only adds to the overall feel of immaturity in the story. This just wasn't the right pairing, it only served to highlight flaws. I would love to hear her on a younger read where her voice would be a real credit to the material.

It would be interesting to see this series revisited after the author has been around a bit longer. I can imagine it being expanded and improved greatly. She has great potential, a terrific concept and some really funny moments. I can see her work growing as she writes more. With all my complaints, I was still entertained and had a chuckle of two along the way.

Partner with this book and I guarantee some entertaining hours even without any dancing.

OK, I know, men aren't supposed to read romance novels, too mushy and unrealistic. But when my sister told me about this book and threatened to treat me really badly if I didn't at least read the first story, I did. Man, what a surprise. Susan Haught's story about a young woman in the nursing home just got me from the first page to the end. Is there more here from Ms. Haught?

Typically I didn't like all the stories as much but was glad I was alone reading some of them as they will definitely get your empathy genes in a fluster. I will recommend these delightful stories to anyone, even you macho guys who don't usually like this genre.

The title story by Susan Haught was my favorite in this anthology. You will love Rudy, the sad old man, brought to joy by his caring nurse, Rachel. The story runs a gamut of emotions from deepest sorrow to the promise of love--all skillfully written and fun to read.

Great Read

These heartwarming stories will truly warm your soul. A fun, yet quick read for one of those cold winter days or hot summer days. Follow Rachel, a nurse, in the first of several short stories as she opens up her heart to help an elderly patient enjoy as much time as he has left. Recommended for all ages! Enjoy!

Autumnal Hoot

Halloween anthologies are not that common and I enjoyed this one very much. Great variety of stories such as Pumpkin Inn, The Haunted House, and Spirits in the Graveyard.

Best Friend Romance

Alternate POV's, Best Friend Romance w/ the boy next door, Stand Alone w/ Family Drama and Parent Issues....

This was a very cute best friend romance. I loved both of the Cutler boys, Jeremiah and Jonah, whom both are cousins but one is Laneys soul mate and the other is her best friend. I get to meet this author soon hopefully in Memphis Comic and Fantasy Convention this fall so looked up some of her books to read to get familiarized.

I would love to see a continuation with Jonah's story maybe about his college sports career and a love interest.....

This was such a cute read. I really loved the characters and I almost couldn't stop the tears as I read it.

To sum up, THIS SIDE OF FOREVER is a quick and entertaining enough to read. IMO, it's more of MYA than NA, the main theme being the usual family issues associated with the genre. The reason why I only Liked it and didn't Love it is I didn't feel CMosley made this as emotionally driven as the premise hinted at. There were a few missed opportunities where the scene could've been more powerful, instead it felt passive and were left to the readers to determine what the characters aren't saying.
