If our child takes money out of our wallet when we’ve said no, and later apologizes, we may forgive him. But he still has to pay the money back. And he’s still grounded. And today on A New Beginning, Pastor Greg Laurie points out there are still consequences to our sin, even when we’ve repented, and even when God has forgiven us. Today, a case in point in the Bible. One of Israel’s most celebrated kings sinned. Adultery. Murder. He repented, but still paid a high price for his actions.
