We as a community have gotten so riled up about a nonexistent product that 2 (what seemed to be) friends are now at odds with each other. I know we don’t do this very often, but can we please get the full story before we get the pitchforks out? Just this once? Fans of both camps have already started picking sides and going after each other. So have a seat.   • Casual Cowards 63 – How To Make Friends and Ruin Heists


    We want to start off by saying that we are mourning the passing of Satoru Iwata today and we will all miss him as a part of the video game culture.  We know that he contributed so much to our gaming and we hope that he has instilled his values into a company that has been a constant in almost every gamer’s gaming career.  Seriousness aside, we’ll get back to our normal nonsense.

    Well, here we are again.  We’ve have Chester, we have Rian, and we have Dirk.  Charles had to go get some scented boobies rubbed all over him, so we’ll forgive him for missing the episode.  While we have all been playing Grand Theft Auto V and hooking up with very random, very bossy players online that want to take all of Chester’s money.  Chester is looking to cash in by writing a book called “How to make Friends and Ruin Heists” that will sell a million copies until GTA V is no longer relevant.  Chester is also deep into playing Ori and the Blind Forest and he is loving it.  We’ll shoot you straight with this game and let you know that this game is worth the $20 bucks on Steam, so get your ass over there and pick it up.  Also, you’re welcome.  Agent’s of Shield gets more airtime as Rian is knuckle deep into season two and is really enjoy it.  There is also more Bill Paxton in the old AoS, so that’s always a good thing.  We also discussed how Bard marriage is legal know and Rian is tired of being a bottom!!

    No Man’s Sky continues to pique our interest, but we’ll have to wait to see what that will bring.  We also discussed what a Natural 20 will bring a character’s dong length versus what a Natural 20 would do when rolling your character crank as a weapon, but we don’t know enough about the D&D system to give an educated guess, so well get back to you on that.  We also don’t have kind words for Kickstarter, but we’ve been sheep for long enough and we’re tired of been backers for terrible deliveries on various projects.  We know that Kickstarter will never go under, but man, we need some better products.

    All in all, we had a good time with this episode, so crack a beer, send the kids to bed, and enjoy the Episode 63 of the Casual Cowards of Gaming.

  • Casual Cowards 60 – Chester of Rivia
    Episode 60 – Chester of Rivia.
    Kind of wishing E3 would happen already so that we can have something to talk about. The new Batman: Arkham Knight trailer has a new Muse song in it. Joy? That’s what made the news this week. Hopefully E3 will be filled with splendors beyond imagination so we can get back on track and start talking about something that actually happened. Or, we could just play video games and forget about what’s happening in the real world. I think I like that option better. At least Chester got in some Witcher 2, and Charles played Witcher 3. Rian just sat around and realized he’s in that special place where he’s too old to play all of the cool games out there, but too young to not care about games. It’s a magical time in ones life. And OH, DID YOU SEE THE TRAILER FOR FALLOUT 4?!?. OMFGWTFSPIDF. Not our reaction exactly, but it happened, and you seem to be excited about a dog looking for food in an empty house, so what the hell, we’ll talk about it.

    Episode 59 – Comicon Hangover Special Extreme Force Zero.

    Well we took a week off so we could go to Phoenix Comicon. It was very uneventful. But, we got black out drunk and wandered around Arizona’s biggest nerd convention, so at least that part was entertaining. And Rian got some new Star Wars action figures. So I guess it wasn’t a total loss. You know what was a total loss? Our cognitive ability and reasoning skills. We no longer know how this show works, but we’ll be sure to get our act together next week. Until then, sit back, have a tall glass of shut the hell up, and listen to us stumble through Episode 59 of the Casual Cowards of Gaming.

    Well you asked for it and it’s finally here. Nintendo is collaborating with Universal Studios to bring us Nintendo themed rides and games. I’m sure it will be severely disappointing. They’ve already brought us Silent Hill and Resident Evil themed attractions so maybe they won’t fuck it up. In other news, EA continues to drop bad news about Star Wars Battlefront. It’s almost like they don’t want people to play this game. The Void brings a fully 4D gaming experience like the world has never seen…to suburban Salt Lake City, Utah. We hope there’s a game where you get to ride a bike in a poverty stricken neighborhood and knock on strangers doors while they’re trying to eat dinner. Fun!

     

    And then there’s all the Grand Theft Auto 5 drama. Guess what, there will still be mods, so get your panties untwisted and get ready to shoot cops as a machine gun wielding kitten. We finally got in some online action and can honestly say this is one of the most rewarding experiences we’ve had so far this year. So hop it, equip your flare gun, and enjoy Episode 56 of The Casual Cowards of Gaming.
