Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of John 5:6 which says "When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?”

"Many of us have been lying around in the same condition for years. Same desire to change, no proof of growth. Same desire to get healthy, to get financial secure, to take a leap of faith, to start that business, to join that community, and yes here we are lying here for a long time.

 

I love that Jesus asked the man, Do you want to get well?

 

It’s a reminder that God will do it. He will give you the strength to start the business, he will give you the strength to get in a new routine, he will give you the way when you see no way, but he is going to ask you first.

 

Do you want to get well.

 

Do you want it?

 

Remind yourself today that He is asking you if you want to change, if you want to grow. He will give you the way, but he is asking you to take the first step. "
