This episode features interviews with coaches Rasheen Johnson & Mike Davis from TPLS Christian Academy & FCB Elite Team Havoc discussing the preparation and recruitment process for student-athletes in high school basketball in Virginia. The coaches describe the importance of developing shooting skills and mental toughness, as well as providing a college-like environment to train in. Stressing the importance of time management and emphasize the value of homeschooling to provide additional training time, they also discuss the importance of standing out amongst peers and providing a strong resume to be noticed by college coaches, while cautioning parents against making emotional decisions. Ultimately, the goal is to encourage young athletes to respect the process and be willing to put in years of hard work to achieve success.
