The old saying that people don't leave companies, they leave bosses, and that's so true. Especially in today's world; you mentioned the multi-generational world. Baby boomers are less likely to do that, millennials, they'll leave and they won't even tell you that they're leaving. This concept calling "ghosting" now that's happening in the workplace more frequently, yeah.

As I’ve delved into this subject, into this topic, I’ve found that it’s much more related to emotions, believe it or not, than anything. I can give tips on what to look for and what to stay away from, and emails, and instant message contacts, and things like that, but when you boil it down behind those things it’s all about emotions. The scammers are absolutely masterful at manipulating emotions.

And what we don't, what they don't teach in school is this, because I was a university professor and I can say this. What they don't teach you is how to be self-employed and how to be self-sustaining. There's got to be more to life than just going to school and getting a degree and getting a job and then retiring.

If we let God in our lives ... This attitude, "God, help me do my best and you do the rest," makes it easier to accept the consequences even when they're disappointing because you invited God to take part in it and if that's what he wants for you here and now, it's easier to accept. It can't be wrong. There was a purpose for it. Like you had indicated when something goes wrong, there's generally a reason for it.

If you can't love yourself as a creature, a child of God, how can you expect to love anyone else? God doesn't make junk, and you're a child of God. Well, that rings a bell that hadn't heard for a while. And then I say, "Furthermore, you're not only a child of God, but you are a masterpiece of his creation.

You know, I think there is no such thing as a failure, because your best ways to learn is through making your mistakes. The only failure is not to try, and you cancel yourself out. There goes every potential you might have as a human being that was built into you if you don't get out and try, but you've got to dream it, so you have the desire to do it, so you want to put the discipline and dedication into it, to get enough determination to get you going to do it.

I used to work at AT&T years and everything had an acronym. It was you didn't go to the bathroom, you went to the LBR which stood for Little Boy's Room. I started writing a how-to book on social media that became obsolete by the time I got to chapter three because it changes so fast. When I figured out it was about relationships, a friend suggested the word bacon because I was posting it a lot on social media. Actually bacon is an acronym and it stands for building authentic relationships online networking.

And I have a confession to make, I'd love to make a confession that I've never told anyone. The book, "So Happy and Grateful," I want to sell a million copies. Here's what I did. I'm not taking any of the profit from the book. I have six people who work for me. They're my inner core and they made me famous. They made me who I am today. And they're splitting this book evenly.

You're looking at a market opportunity that's just not being reached right now. I'm working with Google and helping them along with their approach to this medium. Hopefully they'll come up with a much better solution over the next year or two that will open the doors to reaching, hopefully, a larger group of the US population and actually the global population frankly.

In my book, I like to get to the root cause of the issue that people have with food. Why are we eating so much sugar and carbohydrates? One of them could be because you have a food addiction because it's a biochemical addiction in the brain. It goes up to the same brain receptors, that you eat these types of food, it's the same brain receptors as opiate drugs.
