Alastair Clarkson is into year three at the Kangaroos leading into 2025.
The Roos have had a tough time of it in recent years but the coach believes they're on the upward trajectory drawing inspiration from his time at Hawthorn, as well as the rise of the Brisbane Lions to the 2024 premiership.
Clarkson believes the "indications" are that Luke Davies-Uniacke will stay at the club beyond this season, but has conceded he won't be totally confident "until they sign on the dotted line".
Hear Alastair Clarkson one-on-one with AFL.com.au's Riley Beveridge.
