Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Luke 18:35-43 and look for the faith to see God perform a miracle. In this story Jesus gives a blind man sight. I hope our prayer is the same. 

"We all have different blinders on. It's not just fear, or doubt. Some of you wear the blinders of this society. You lean on what the world has to say about you instead of what God has to say about you. I will encourage you today to remove the blinders. Whatever is blinding you from living the life you were destined to live, remove it. if it's an addiction, a relationship, a career choice, what ever it is remove it. 

 

May our prayer today and everyday be the same of this blind man, "Lord, I want to see you!" I pray we become as desperate as this man. I hope we shout for Jesus until he frees us of what ever holds us captive. 

 

Beyond that, maybe you're not just wearing blinders, but like this man you need healing in your body.

 

You might be are sitting there and you are sick and need healing or someone close to you is fighting a cancer. I don't know what you're facing but he does. I don't know what you are so desperately looking to healed from, but he does! Maybe it's not a physical illness but a mental illness. Maybe you are asking Jesus to life the anxiety from your body. Or the depression. Maybe it's a past trauma that is keeping you hostage. Whatever the case is, weather you are asking for healing or you are asking for the blinders to be lifted, Jesus answer will always be the same: 

 

Receive your sight, your faith as healed you."
