This Teisho was given by the Reverend Jay Rinsen Weik Roshi at the Buddhist Temple of Toledo on June 18, 2022.  Rinsen Roshi discusses a dialogic teaching from the collection First Buddhist Women: Poems and Stories of Awakening (edited by Susan Murcott) on the importance of incorporating our own particular antagonisms, or Mara, into our practice, and welcoming them as gates to awakening.
