Well it is good to be back withi you here at, "Your Place"! We had our grandson last week and did not have the scheduled show due to that.  Starla does such a great job each week and she has such limited time with Jordon that we decided to give her a break.  Plus, If you do not keep up with a 7 year old for an hour, you will always wish that you had!  On our last show, We gave you the introduction to the book of Revelation and everybody was not wanting it to end.  This teacher is one of the best for his format of teaching then we have ever heard.  The signs of the times and talk of end time is something that has been looked for and talked about since the time of the apostiles.  Stop and think of how many awful events have taken place since then that people get on high alert thinking this could be it!  Yet the people of the world are growing farther and farther away from GOD.  Man has come up with their thousands of denominations that each have things wrong with them.  We hope that you enjoy this study, and pray that something in it gets you to study the rest of the Bible and seek Jesus for the relationship HE wants to have with all of us.  Jesus has a perfect plan for all of us that HE wants to share.  As always you are welcome to make comments or ask questions at the end of the show. We have had such a blessing in bringing to you the bible study on Acts, and Romans.  In much prayer on future shows brought us to the book of Revelation.  This teacher has done such a great job in opening up our thinking that I wanted to hear his teachings on what many people argue about on this book of the Bible.  Do you know what it actually tells us?  We want to remind people that this is not a church pastor or church teacher.  He is a colllege professor who is one of the best bible teachers that I have ever listened to.  But his comments may throw you if you are picturing this as a church bible study.  As always we open up the microphones at the end of each show for comments or questions. Tonight we are bringing you the last of the lessons on the book of Romans.  If you have missed any of these.  We encourage you to go back to the archives and listen to each of these shows.  You can download them to any smart device for free! I almost hate for these to end.  One thing I want to make clear and was mentioned last week.  Paul and Peter kept steady on the course of teaching the plan of salvation.  What did they teach the plan of salvation was.  Read it in the book of Acts.  Some people say all you have to do is believe and that takes away the total context of what the bible was saying about believing.  To believe in something means that you follow the instructions.  I can believe I can fly but until I get into an airplane it is not going to happen! Everybody has to be born again.  Jesus made it clear that this means of the water and the spirit.  This goes with the narritive of what took place in the book of ACTs.  They were baptised in water in the name of Jesus, and they recieved the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.  Peter and Paul never strayed from this teaching!  The epistles were sent to the church of each area that already had been baptised in Jesus name and had recived the gift of the Holy Ghost.  So they did not beat a dead horse to death by going over this again in these letters.  Instead they taught them of how to live in this new knowledge and new covenant that God had given to people that did away with the law of the sacrifice of sheep and goats.  Since salvation with Peter and Paul was important.  I want to make sure that this is just as important and clear on this show.  As always we open up the microphones to hear your thoughts. The last time we tried to air this show we could not get it to play.  There are some new changes going on with Blog talk radio and we are hoping that the bugs have been all worked out so that we have no problems tonight. Welcome to another show here at, "Your Place,"  Last week the speaker went a little long and this week he cut it short to make up for it.  Tonight many of you may start to have a major knee jerk reaction to some of the items mentioned during the show.  I want to ask you to do yourself a favor.  Keep your mind clear, and listen to all of the point he is trying to make.  I do not agree with what he is saying 100% but I promise you can learn something that will be of value to you later.  I will tell you that his train does fall off of the rails but you will miss something if you think you know what he is going to say after his initial thought.  As always we will open up the microphones at the end of the show so you can share your thoughts and opinions on the topic discussed tonight!

Welcome to another lesson on the book of Romans.  Wild Bill was almost giddy as he reported to me that he is not the only person that battles with being long winded sometimes.  Tonight you will get the monitor trying to come in at the normal time but the teacher keeps right on going!  Wild Bill said, "This may be the first show where he had a major disagreement with the teacher.  What the teacher states is true but it is not the anwer to the question that he has proposed to discuss from the scriptures.  At least that is Wild Bill's opinion.  You may think differently! Welcome to another show here at, "Your Place"!  We pray that this study we are in on the book of Romans has been the blessing to you that it has been for us.  Wild Bill was thinking how that sometimes he struggles with things in life.  Things like health, things that seem to go against him in his life, even on how his thinking can become his enemy, and even how he sometimes resonds to these thoughts! The reason for the song that started this show was a reminder to Bill and others that battle.  We are to  do all things in word and deed in the name of JESUS! There is nothing that is not subject to the power in the name of JESUS! Think about that!  We are not just given permission but told...Do ALL things in word and deed in Jesus Name!  When we do this, we are accepting the birthright and the authority given us by the almighty GOD! Try this, In Jesus name, I rebuke you satan, and I'm not taking your calls today! When we make up our mind to walk with Jesus we need not fear any situation, or circumstance! I pray that this study on the book of Romans has inspired you as much as it has us.  It is different then most teachings you may have heard in your past, but it does make you think about scripture in a way that I have not done before.  This was the vision of this show when Joy first approached us with doing this show. We have just finished with Memorial Day. Many of us had an extra day off of work.  We want to thank those that have gave the ultimate sacrifice for us to enjoy the rights and freedoms that we have. The Bible tells us there is no greater love then to lay down your life for another! For those that have been effected by the loss of a loved one in the protection of our country! We want to thank you and let you know that our thoughts and prayers are with you! We did not want to allow this holiday to go by without acknowleding your sacrifice. Welcome back to another part of this eye opening bible study on the book of Romans. This study on the book of Romans has been really on my mind and on my heart.  The part of judging others for not doing what you believe, when you are not doing it yourself really has been speaking to me.  We talk of a holiness standard but when you look at what it has become over the years it seems far from that to me.  We have learned how to take more cloth and yet make it more sexy, while judging other people's clothing.  We always talk of being seperate from the world but I think we miss the part of it is not about using the world as our guide post.  It is about running to Jesus, and that in itself will make a seperation from the things of this world.  The idea that God would give us strong delusion should scare us all when we think of living a life that is pleasing to HIM!  As always we will welcome your comments and questions at the end of this show.
