Did you know that stealing does not always mean taking something material?
In the yogic philosophy, the principle of Asteya – non-stealing goes far beyond the idea of theft. It speaks about a much more subtle layer of how we move through life and how we relate to others.
We can take things that were never meant for us in many invisible ways.
We can take someone’s time, someone’s attention, someone’s energy, someone’s ideas, or even opportunities that do not truly belong to us.
Asteya invites us to look deeper.
It asks us to notice where we might be taking more than we give, where comparison or scarcity shapes our actions, and even where we may be taking something away from ourselves.
In this episode, I want to explore how this ancient yogic principle can guide us toward a life of greater integrity, respect, and inner abundance.
