Your subconscious mind is the key! It holds all of the power! Positive affirmations are a form of Prayer. Use them to make Magic!
This works in the cerebrospinal or voluntary system
This system is linked to your senses and the voluntary movements of your body
The control centre for this is in the cerebral cortex in the brain
Your conscious mind is your reasoning mind, and it makes choices. For example, it chooses your partners, your favourite colour, what to wear, and how your house looks.
Your conscious mind is your rational mind or objective mind. Your conscious mind deals with the environment and objective World through your five senses.
Whatever you think about will sink into your subconscious mind, good or bad, positive or destructive, and this will be accepted without question.
Through the use of Prayer, you can influence your subconscious mind.
Your conscious mind never could do the job your subconscious mind does in operating your body.
Worry, depression, stress, fear and anxiety can affect your heart, lungs, stomach and intestines. The medical community is now recognising mental health’s effects on the body. Remember the lesson I spoke of earlier? When the mind is sick, so is the body.
This works in the autonomic system or involuntary nervous system.
This works in several areas, including the cerebellum, brain stem and amygdala.
Our subconscious mind also works in an area called our “second brain”, a large complex structure of nerves located in our abdominal area, also known as the Celiac (Solar) Plexus area. This “second brain” contains more neurons than the spinal cord or the peripheral nervous system.
Your subconscious controls your heartbeat, digestion, circulation, vital functioning, and breathing. It can transform food into blood, bone and muscle tissue. It does this twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. It never stops.
You would have felt this “second brain” speaking to you but probably did not realise it. It speaks to us through feelings, though having “butterflies” in your stomach, through that “gut feeling” of intuition. These feelings are our subconscious mind communicating with the conscious mind.
Now you understand that your second brain contains some hundred million neurons, how seriously will you start taking its messages?
Your subconscious is your creative or subjective mind and draws on an infinite power and wisdom that resides in you. It has the power of clairvoyance and can collect information through divine sources. When your conscious mind is quiet, your subconscious mind performs at its best.
Remember, we are souls in a body, not a body with a soul attached.
Unlike the conscious mind, the subconscious mind never sleeps and never rests. You can tap into this infinite power by speaking to it before you sleep. Your subconscious will talk back to you through your dreams. Both of these organs have their own connections to our significant systems and vital functions of the body. They can work separately or synchronously; for example, our bodies may respond to danger before consciously noticing the perceived threat. Our thoughts and ideas are electrical currents, and when we have a thought, a parallel current is produced in our involuntary nervous system. This is how our conscious mind speaks to our subconscious mind. Let's remember your subconscious mind cannot accept or reject ideas and cannot determine between what is real or imaginary. Your subconscious mind believes whatever your conscious mind tells it. Your subconscious mind will carry out instructions no matter what they are. Sometimes things will happen straight away; sometimes, they will take time.
