The purpose of today’s broadcast is to increase your knowledge about prayer, to share with you prayer techniques, and to help you develop the skills necessary to become a prayer champion. Prayer Champions are leaders and victors who are expert, skilled, practiced, proficient, knowledgeable and adept at prayer. Prayer Champions are bold, confident, courageous, audacious, unflinching, fearless, daring, resolute, dauntless, fervent, passionate, ardent, intense, zealous, devoted to, committed to, and steadfast in prayer. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. James 5:16, NKJV

Instead of feeling anxious, distressed and overwhelmed by all the things that daily life can pile upon my plate; I need to experience calm and to establish periods to slow down for refreshing and rejuvenation. This covenant of care is the promise I make to myself for self-care, for developing a support system or multiple systems of support and a commitment for continued personal growth.

Today I want to talk to you about the Goodness of GOD. What a privileged we now have to come boldly to the throne of grace to make our requests known that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need all because of the Goodness of the LORD. We have the assurance from Matthew 18:18, JESUS assures us that we have the authority to bind or forbid things on earth and that it will be bound or forbidden in heaven.  We have also been given the authority to loose or set free or allow things on earth and they will be loosed or set free or allowed in heaven. Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Oh, give thanks to the God of gods! For His mercy endures forever. Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords! For His mercy endures forever: Psalm 136:1-3, NKJV

Welcome Back! After our August hiatus we take a look back of the past strategies for self-encouragment. Everyone needs encouragement from time to time.  Whether to flourish in a brand new endeavor, or as persuasion to continue in the midst of challenges, encouragement inspires hope and can bolster self-efficacy.  Our encouragement strategies as either challenge-focused or potential-focused seeks to instill courage to reduce fear, perseverance to combat the urge to give up, and confidence to embrace the future.

We worship as a fellowship of Christian believers who love The LORD Our GOD with all of our heart, soul, and mind. (Matthew 22:37, NKJV)  Our mission is to worship The LORD Our GOD in Spirit and in Truth, broadcasting over the airwaves with those who are homebound or without church homes. (John 4:23, NKJV)  We express our adoration of The LORD in worship through our passionate prayers, perpetual praise, and prophetic preaching of the Word of GOD. (1 Thessalonians 5:17, Psalm 34:1, 2 Timothy 4:2)  In obedience to The Great Commission we send forth our broadcast to make disciples of all nations and in remembrance of our LORD’S passion we join together in Holy Communion. (Matthew 28:19, Luke 22:19)

Our Prayer today allows us, mere humans, to call upon scriptural promises that will bring about powerful changes. Even in great distress, acute suffering, deep disappointment or major setbacks, God’s Grace is still present. We are all learning together and choosing to Stop focusing on our cares and concerns and we shall let GOD lift us far above our current circumstances. They are only  temporary.   In the Bible, Matthew 6 verses 25-34 reads; Therefore I tell you, stop being perpetually uneasy (anxious and  worried) about your life, what you shall eat or  what you shall drink; or about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life greater [in quality] than  food, and the body [far above and more excellent] than clothing?   Look at the birds of the air; they  neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they? And who of  you by worrying and being anxious can add one  unit of measure to his stature or to the  span of his life?

Calling all Prayer Champions as encourage each other to remain confident in the LORD! For those of us who are dealing with illness in our bodies or we are standing in the gap for loved ones who need a healing touch from the LORD, let’s come together in prayer. “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5, NKJV

I am away from the studio this week but have pre-recorded an excerpt from my 33 minute prayer that can be found on my YouTube Channel. Let us continue in prayer. People are concerned about prayer, however some feel ill equipped for effective prayer. In order to maximize course outcomes, the prerequisites are sincerity, humility and love.  The major benefits for becoming a prayer champion is to develop the bold confidence of a conqueror with a win-win outlook on life.  No matter the challenge, the champion prayer skills developed will empower you to cast your cares upon the LORD for yourself as well as for others within your circle of influence.

While no one wants to suffer a long time, longsuffering as a fruit of the Spirit is patience, it is having an even temper despite the situation! It is forbearance, endurance, fortitude, unflappability, and serenity. It is absolute trust and confidence in GOD that no matter what we are dealing with, we know that absolutely Nothing will separate us from GOD’S Love! Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles,

They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:21, NKJV
