In this episode, Lyndsay and Julie chat with Erin Browning, Speech Pathologist and Ayurvedic Health Counselor.
“With small consistent changes, practices to explore the state of the nervous system & thoughtful reflection on the shifts occurring we can change the way we live. We can find JOY.”
Erin’s mission is to educate about the need for everyone to find a way to navigate the rough waters life brings so they can find stability, calm, and step into joyful living. She has lived these practices and continues to live it daily.
For the past decade Erin’s efforts were spent combining her knowledge as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor with the extensive experience she has helping people with differently wired nervous systems. With this experience, she has provided practical methods & placed tangible tools into the hands of the people needing the most support; the ones teaching, caretaking, treating patients, & living stressful lives that lead to burnout each and every day.

Ayurveda is a way of living with the natural seasons and cycles of the Earth. Oftentimes Ayurveda is deduced to a “what am I” Dosha quiz or another food list. But it’s so much more than either of those! When practiced daily it can prevent disease and help us age gracefully with ease.
In this episode Julie opens up to Lyndsay about her physical symptoms and imbalances to give us examples of how knowing your Dosha can provide a zoomed out perspective on health issues that feels sustainable and empowering.
Join us to learn how Ayurveda and the doshas can help restore harmony in body, mind, and spirit.

Let go and rest.
In this bonus episode, Julie will guide you through a meditation experience of being asleep and aware simultaneously, also called Yoga Nidra.
The simple definition of Yoga Nidra is sleep with awareness. Yoga Nidra can resolve issues like lack of rest or quality sleep, as well as mental and emotional challenges that stem from stress, anxiety, and the overall challenges our nervous system faces in this day and age. In the deep state of Yoga Nidra, your body and mind will sleep, while at the same time you will remain aware. You will rest in dreamless sleep, also referred to as stage 3 non-REM deep sleep. This is the unique physiological state where your body and mind can access the deep rhythm of healing and renewal. During this meditation you will discover why this practice is still so valuable after thousands of years and why it is considered to be the intersection of the highest states of meditation combined with deep sleep.
After a brief introduction, the practice starts at minute 02:13.
Let go. Rest. And find the true "you".
