The year is 1139 and an enigmatic Irish bishop names Malachy has been summoned to Rome by Pope Innocent II. While in Rome, Malachy purportedly experienced  a vision of all 112 future Popes, which he later recorded in a manuscript sequenced in a series of cryptic phrases. 

This manuscript was then allegedly deposited in the Vatican Secret Archives and forgotten about until 1590. Fast forward to today 2025 and we have the current head of the Catholic Church Pope Francis taken ill with double phenomena. 

Could this be the last and final 112th Pope as some prophetic interpreters suggest? Or is all of this a silly conspiracy theory driven by a medieval forgery?

When we hear the word 'Stargate' we instantly draw up images of portals to other worlds and works of science fiction set to the backdrop of an intergalactic story. Conspiracy theorists may look to the modern day "marvels" of science including particle accelerators such as CERN being a window or portal to alternate realities. Some of us may even harken back to the Tower of Babel, not just as an affront to God but as a means of the enemy to return to the heavens in a continued war with God. 

Yet all of these aspects are put in the scope of Stargate's being a mechanism of travel. A literal doorway to somewhere else, yet we easily forget that doorways don't just lead us out, they can let things in. Which begs the question what could we be letting in?

Welcome back everyone! Today I have a guest appearance for your listening pleasure. I sat down with friends over on the WTF Forum to discuss the phenomenon of "ceiling birds". This topic is often considered to be a fringe and controversial conspiracy theory, myth or stereotype when it comes to African American communities. 

But as we all know there is always an element of truth when in comes to such things. This was more a deep dive and long form discussion about the historical, cultural and sociopolitical impacts on African American culture and maybe just maybe "ceiling birds" may just have something to do with it.

African American culture and history is incredibly nuanced and complex. The intention of today's show is to turn a silly little internet theory or stereotype into a genuine conversation about the history of the United States and how African Americans form an integral part of that history. We went on to hypothesise about the possible explanations for the odd pattern based on history, psychology and cultural schisms.

In 1974, the Club or Rome, an influential global think tank, proposed a provocative geopolitical framework dividing the world into ten regional blocs, now widely referred to as the "10 Kingdoms." Born from concerns over overpopulation, environmental degradation, and economic instability, this proposal sought to address humanity's growing crises through regional cooperation and sustainable governance. 

On the surface it has been pitched to the masses as means of solving all the worlds issues, yet festering below the surface of this very obvious facade is the blueprint for globalised authoritarian control and even hints at biblical prophecy.

Revelation 17:12-14

“The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast. They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast. They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”

For "Truthers" opposing authoritarian regimes has been woven into the very fabric of its communities. From the European Union to the United Nations, people have had an uneasy and guttural response to such globalised hegemony. Yet today large elements of this same community now cheer in wondrous applause for the foundations of a North American Union under Trump.

That's what makes Bob such a good voice within our circles and why he was the perfect person to share my concerns with today.

Edward Scissor Hands written and directed by Tim Burton is a modern day fairytale which tells the story of Edward, a man created by eccentric inventor who died before finishing him. Edward is left incomplete with scissors where he should have hands.

One day when the local Avon lady representative (Peg) calls at the historic mansion where he has been living alone, she takes him home to stay with her family. He has to adapt to the new life and environment that he isn't used to. Soon he shows a talent in cutting hair and hedges and wins everyone's hearts.But life isn't always so sweet, at first everyone welcomes him into the community, but soon things begin to take a change for the worse.

Julia and I will continue to breakdown our childhood favourites in the coming months, watch this space! Last breakdown was all about suburban serial killers and satanism! We started off this episode sharing our general thoughts about Edward Scissor Hands and how it made its way in as a favourite childhood film.

Yet despite all these fantastic benefits there remains a niggling feeling that something could go terribly wrong. That our sense of comfort, satisfaction and ease will come with a cost. Up until now that cost seemed to be isolated to the physical and cognitive ream of our world. Yet we are now facing a new frontier, the digital age and the spiritual combined...

J.J Abrams is quoted as saying - "I do think there's something about the digital age that is increasingly dehumanising us. We're in this very weird place where we're being pulled into experiences that aren't really experiences at all."
