The Fall Guy is adorable and must be seen by all.
The new Planet of the Apes is an impressively created world but you need to do homework.
Unfrosted is great if you lean into the silly.
The Stranger: Chapter 1 is a pointless remake of the excellent 2008 film starring Liv Tyler.
Trio of terrrrible streamers includes the world's worst film, with an IMDb score of 2.8/10, and directed by Elizabeth Hurley's son. The other two are cheesy rom-coms that are worth a punt.
Question 01: Is Baby Reindeer worth all the hype?
Question 02: Is Challengers perfect or does Zendaya just give good red carpet?
Question 03: One of us thinks Monkey Man was incredible, another was bored; who is right?
Question 04: How come Shogun has a near perfect IMDb score?
It's the most wonderful time of the year. The Oscars is airing this Sunday and we run down the chunky list of 10 films in the running for Best Picture.
Advanced warning: this episode features spoilers galore, so if you haven't yet completed your viewing homework this year, skip it.
What's your favourite season? Mine's Awards.
We witter about the red carpet for the first hour so skip that if you're not interested in aggressive cummerbund work or underwhelming interview questions.
Otherwise, stick us in your ears while you complete a marathon dog walk or commute into central London in Friday evening traffic. Things that take around three hours.
Our Awards Season specials continue with the BAFTAs.
Ash managed to squeeze the word "fuck" into one sentence seven times, probably describing how annoying it is to watch Oppenfuckingheimer sweep *everything*. Bore. Snooze.
Four absofuckingloutely excellent films, three deservedly nominated for mutliple Oscars and one robbed, languishing at the BAFTAs.
Cannot stress enough how spectacular The Iron Claw is.
Zone of Interest is HEAVY and HARD but utilises excellent camera trickery.
American Fiction is Nora Ephron's modern lovechild.
All of us Strangers didn't quite catch on with everyone but that person is extremely apologetic about it.
Ash took on a secret side mission to watch and recap the 75th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards so you don't have to sit through it yourself.
A 2+ hour ceremony has been deftly condensed into 54 minutes of live(ish) coverage, with a heavy focus on who is divorced from whom in the audience, who should have won each award, and where you know the presenters from because you sure as shit won't have seen many of them in anything recently.
Why you shouldn't take Saltburn too seriously and you definitely shouldn't watch it with family if you want to have a good time.
The very pretty Priscilla polarised us.
Good Grief was a good effort but an overall let down.
The Boy and the Heron is an animation for grown ups.
And The Crown is finally over, so what went wrong and right in the final season?
We discuss:
- The history-altering abomination that is And Just Like That.
- Red, White & Royal Blue featuring gay royals making American friends.
- Painkiller is the worst Sackler family-centred story out there.
- Theater Camp is actually excellent and you should leave the house to see it at the actual cinema.
It's the biggest double-opener in cinematic history.
Tom Cruise has also been let out again.
And The Bear is top kitchen TV.
