  • Hive Music Festival - Week N° 174 - Round 3 ''Benny Sings - Nobodys Fault'' cover by Y ' $ ∆ √ ~ ° -
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yusaymon/409ddff5
¡Diez! Y yo apenas llevo como tres canciones escuchadas. Definitivamente hay tarea pendiente. En fin, espero que les guste.

This rendition of Benny Sings isn't as faithful to the original, but I had to do it this way for the Hive Music Festival. I'm leaving the lyrics with the chords anyway, in case you want to try it on guitar.
I remember the first time I heard this song. It was in an apartment — I can't even remember whose — and I liked to sit there, unhurried, looking for new music. I had discovered how to play audio through a good subwoofer and suddenly everything sounded different: deeper, more physical. This song grabbed me right away. I think there's another version, a Drake cover called "Passionfruit", yeah, that one. Right now I'm going to look for it again, I think there have been so many versions of that song.
But maybe for me, this one is the most interesting of all. This video, along with the one for "Nobody's Fault", share that cold, somewhat hidden vibe, like Eastern European alleyways in winter. Yeah, I get that Benny looks a bit unkempt, but who wants to shower in those temperatures? I think it's a very casual video, shot in that airtight studio, with a heater that must be pretty interesting — the kind that barely takes the chill off the air.
Doing a little research, I read that Benny is Dutch and has ten albums. Ten! And I've only heard like three songs. Definitely some homework to do. Anyway, hope you like it.

    ![image.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/yusaymon/23yTf7xsAUViz1MYX4vL3HiB1qARfaAE5VJJwYk2tL5DzHneme8XNLLJRcLKtKQHXhUGY.png)

    ## Hello friends, I heard this song by @sundayayuba, very beautiful and inspiring to remember God's love for each one of us. Personally, I am very grateful because despite all my mistakes, God is always there, even in the darkness. So I decided to sing this song and I'm also leaving you the chords I used.
    ________
I was researching E-Daniels and his story surprised me. Here is a summary below:
Emmanuel Daniel, known in the music world as E-Daniels, stands as one of the most luminous and inspiring figures in Nigerian gospel music. His story is not just that of exceptional musical talent, but a profound testimony of resilience and purpose.
    ![image.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/yusaymon/23yTf7xsAUViz1MYX4vL3HiB1qARfaAE5VJJwYk2tL5DzHneme8XNLLJRcLKtKQHXhUGY.png)
From a very young age, E-Daniels forged his artistic sensitivity immersed in a family environment full of melodies, nourished by an extensive collection of cassettes and CDs that awakened in him an unbreakable passion for gospel music. This self-taught and organic training laid the foundation for his sonic identity. He is not only a moving singer but also a consummate guitarist and producer, which gives him integral and unique control over every aspect of his artistic creation, from composition to the final arrangement.
However, his path was marked by a significant trial: a visual impairment acquired in childhood due to measles. Far from limiting him, this circumstance transformed into the engine of his message. E-Daniels did not overcome his challenge to forget it; he integrated it as a fundamental part of his testimony, using his life as a living example that the most powerful worship is often born in darkness. His music thus becomes a bridge of hope, demonstrating that physical limits cannot contain the spirit when it is guided by unwavering faith.
Today, E-Daniels is established as one of the most influential worship ministers in Nigeria. His impact goes beyond stages and recordings; he inspires a generation to find strength in vulnerability and to express their devotion through art. To delve deeper into his ministry, explore his discography, and learn about his inspiring journey. There, his music and message continue to resonate, inviting everyone to remember God's unwavering love, even in the darkest moments.

  • Hive Music Festival - Week N° 166 - Round 1 ''Tu Locura - Gustavo Cerati''
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yusaymon/gkyslsef

Wow, it seems like the saltpeter went on strike and decided to devour my guitar! That coastal curse that turns everything to dust… But you know what? Instead of complaining, I decided that if the instrument was going to have that "apocalyptic beach vintage" sound, I was going to make the most of it. This time I completely changed the recording formula, and the result is… well, frankly it sounds pretty weird, HAHAHAHA! I wouldn't even know how to describe it.
To top it off, in a fit of bravery (or madness), I tried playing over that corroded base and threw in a synthesizer. The combo was so surreal it turned into a definitely avant-garde move. It sounded like the soundtrack to an experimental '80s movie that nobody understood, but in the best possible way. I think in the next session I'm going to experiment even more deeply with this chaos, to see how far this sonic decay can go!
To be honest with you, I did all this despite being kind of sick. I caught a horrible flu, my official first Venezuelan flu :S. Being feverish and feeling all that malaise slows everything down, but at the same time it gives me a kind of weird disconnect that's sometimes good for creating.
I discovered the background song recently and fell in love instantly. I said, "okay, let's do it, no fear." I admit my voice doesn't come out very well, especially with my throat half destroyed, but I tried to get as close to the original voice as I could, even if it's with a hoarse, nasal whisper. In the end, everything fused together: the corroded guitar, the strange synthesizers, my flu-ridden voice, and a song I adore. A wonderful disaster, truly. That's how it is!

  • Cover on Music Community ''Sugar Ray - When It's Over'' by Y`$∆√~°-
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yusaymon/eniewfzg

since i got to venezuela i been listening to a lot of music, i came across this one and i still dont get bored of it... i found it thanks to my friend erick
i decided to start uploading my covers to music community specially of the songs i dont get tired of quickly! many have asked me about how i record my songs i dont wanna brag but i'll tell you how i do it
first step is recording myself with the laptop camera why? cause there are some cool efects to not show how old i am also i like that the AI gets a little dizzy with my psicodelic efects... my laptop microphone is a bit damaged thats why you hear like a noise, i leave it like that and use it... with the phone i also record at the same time i put it in a place close to the guitar...
after i have those two files i go to Audacity... there are some very interesting and in my opinion retro efects, tape delay, retro flanger i can show you pics... there i try to get a rustic sound!! i forgot that i use a drum machine to record and keep the time! what used to happen to me before i lost the time its a little program on the computer its called drum machine!
well after working the audio in audacity in this case i go to bandlab and there i add more voices and add reverb there cause i like the result more i mix what i already did in audacity in bandlab and add more voices percussion or quiet sinthesizer sounds i export again and put the video with the audio in the video program can be any i use filmora and after that i already upload to hive!

    ## ENG:
Wow, this take is completely different from all the others! You're not going to believe this, but the video got completely stuck during the process... and I ended up losing the original file. Such a pity.
But you know what? I decided to post it regardless because the audio felt far too compelling not to share. There's something special about it. Let's see how it lands out there!
Let me know in the comments what you think. I picked this track for its 'I Will Return' theme—that profound sense of nostalgia for coming back home, to your roots. It's got that authentic, folky, heartland American sound. It really touched my soul.

Life is old there, older than the trees
Younger than the mountains, growin' like a breeze
    Country roads, take me home
    To the place I belong
    West Virginia, mountain mama
    Take me home, country roads
All my memories gather 'round her
Miner's lady, stranger to blue water
Dark and dusty, painted on the sky
Misty taste of moonshine, teardrop in my eye
    Country roads, take me home

    ## ENG
This song has been going around and around in my head... it's simply beautiful... I know I don't do any justice to the original song at all!! HAHAHAHAHA but it feels so good to try.
I sang it a lot practicing it the voice is complicated the high intonation too but I'm glad I did it also I have a problem with a microphone that sound if it's not on purpose something in that microphone broke I'll be working to fix it I'll leave you the original song and my interpretation thank you very much
The truth is, I can't get it out of my mind, it's like a loop that repeats all day, on the train, when I cook, even before sleeping. Those melodies, those lyrics, grab me tight and don't let go. And even though I know my version doesn't come anywhere near the perfection of the original, that it's missing a lot, that my voice sometimes cracks or doesn't reach where it should, the feeling of having tried is incredible. It's like conquering a little mountain, small but my own.
I practiced a ton, in the shower, with headphones on, repeating the difficult passages over and over. The voice is complicated, it's not just about yelling or singing loud, it's the intonation, it's that height that seems unattainable, like wanting to touch the edge of a cloud with your fingertips. There were parts that cost me blood, sweat, and tears, literally. But in the end, even if it's a disaster, I'm deeply glad. There's a satisfaction there, in the attempt, in having put my heart into something that moved me inside.
The only bad thing is the microphone, that weird noise you hear sometimes, like a buzz or a thump. It wasn't on purpose, I swear. Something broke inside, a loose wire maybe, or who knows what. But well, it's no excuse, I'll be working on fixing it for next time, because I'd like it to sound clear, without weird interference.
So, well, there I leave you both versions, the original which is a total masterpiece, and mine, which is... mine, with all its flaws and all my affection poured into it. Thank you very much for listening, really, even if it's just for a little while. That already means a lot.
    Lyrics:
Las horas caen llevándose, esta vez
    ## The hours fall, taking away, this time
Todo lo que el viento me habló
    ## Everything that the wind told me
Eterno el día sin esperar, ya volvió
    ## Eternal the day, without waiting, has returned
    ## With your sky that splits in two
Niño precioso, que no entiende nada ya
    ## Precious child, who understands nothing anymore
Cuando apareces tu energía es tan diáfana
    ## When you appear your energy is so clear
Escóndeme, antes de que mire el mundo
    ## Hide me, before the world looks
    ## Solitude will not change my loving
Ni el ambicioso mundo lo hará
    ## Nor will the ambitious world do so
    ## I know that perhaps you'll be able to feel that ardor
    Otra vez, el mismo amor
    ## Again, the same love
Niño precioso, que no entiende nada ya
    ## Precious child, who understands nothing anymore
Cuando apareces tu energía es tan diáfana
    ## When you appear your energy is so clear
Escóndeme, antes de que mire el mundo
    ## Hide me, before the world looks
Yo sé, yo sé que acaso
    ## I know, I know that perhaps
    Entiendes el lenguaje del cielo
    ## You understand the language of heaven
    ## And the sea will reward you with its salt
Y solo eso será, solo eso será
    ## And that's all it will be, that's all it will be
    ## From your mouth will come the sheep of the water
Solo eso será, solo eso será
    ## That's all it will be, that's all it will be
    ## And it's that in the end, this way, you will be free
    Yo sé que acaso
    ## I know that perhaps
    Entiendes el lenguaje del cielo
    ## You understand the language of heaven

¡Hola, Music Zone!
    Letra:
Soñe que tu como guacamaya azul
Volar y Cantar como guacamaya azul
    mirar, danzas como guacamaya azul
de pie y sentad@ como guacamaya azul
    Los dias presentes
    escucha tu corazon
    la conviccion
    no te rindas, sin miedo
    como guacamaya azul
    como guacamaya azul
    como guacamaya azul (sin miedo)
    como guacamaya azul (sin miedo)
    como guacamaya azul (sin miedo)
    Letra / Lyrics:
Soñé que tú, como guacamaya azul
Volar y cantar, como guacamaya azul
    Mirar, danzar, como guacamaya azul
De pie y sentad@, como guacamaya azul
    Los días presentes
    Escucha tu corazón
    La convicción
    No te rindas, sin miedo
    Como guacamaya azul
    Como guacamaya azul
    Como guacamaya azul (sin miedo)
    Como guacamaya azul (sin miedo)
    Como guacamaya azul (sin miedo)

    ## ENG:
Hello, Music Zone! Today I come with something very special: an original song written exclusively for you. I hope it touches your heart as much as it touched mine while I was creating it. Everything started in my humble spiral notebook, with that pen that always stains my fingers but holds all my ideas. There, between torn pages and margin notes, "Blue Macaw" was born.
The truth is, I don't know where the inspiration came from. It was a sudden spark, one of those fleeting muses that appear when you least expect it. I was cooking lentils, with the aroma of cumin filling the kitchen, when suddenly this melody and these verses washed over me. I knew that if I didn't capture it right then, it would vanish forever. So without thinking, I turned off the stove, left the pot half-cooked, and ran to my music corner.
There waited my faithful companion: a four-string guitar. Yes, it’s missing one, but that doesn’t take away its soul. On the contrary, that limitation forces me to be more creative, to search for different chords, to give it a unique sound. With it in my hands and the pen still between my fingers, I wove the song together. The images of the blue macaw—that free, vibrant, and brave bird—became a symbol of how I want to live: without fear, listening to my heart, with the conviction to fly high even when circumstances tie us to the ground.
The lyrics speak of dreams and presence, of dancing through life with the same naturalness with which a bird moves among trees. The "present days" are a reminder that the time to be authentic is now. And that repeated chorus—"like a blue macaw"—is almost a mantra, an invocation to inner freedom.
Thank you for allowing me to share this little piece of my imperfect but sincere world. I hope that when you listen to it, you too feel the urge to leave the "lentils cooking" for a moment, and run to chase your own inspiration.

This song resonated with me in a very special way. From the very first listen, I felt it transcended what would be a simple melody; it's as if it contained a deep and necessary message. Its essence strikes me as an authentic and heart-wrenching confession, a kind of soul laid bare that shares with us the scars and lessons from a journey traveled in a world that sometimes seems dominated by misunderstanding, hatred, and shadow.
It's not merely an expression of pain, but a testament to resilience. In its lyrics and music, I perceive a call to awareness, a powerful invitation to pause and reflect. It's as if the artist had taken fragments of their own experience in this complex landscape and transformed them into a beacon of empathy.
And therein lies its greatest beauty: it doesn't remain in criticism or lament.

  • Hive Music Festival - Week N° 164 - Round 2 (Daniel Grau -Con El Cielo En Tus Ojos) by Y`$∆√~°-
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yusaymon/oyndkrha
The first time I heard this song was pure chance, tuning into an international radio station—I think it was from Oceania. The host mentioned "Venezuelan psychedelic" and said the name Daniel Grau. I was captivated by the sound that followed, a strange and beautiful mix, and I tried to remember the name but I always forgot it whenever I went to search for it later. This went on for a while, until I finally memorized the name: Daniel Grau.
The man, Daniel Grau Sosa (December 28, 1948 – January 5, 2021), was a Venezuelan composer who was very active in electronic and dance music. He worked with people like Gerd Janson and Psychemagik. They call him a pioneer of jazzanova, which is like a fusion of bossanova, disco, and jazz—something smooth that still makes you tap your feet. That's why they called him "the Venezuelan Giorgio Moroder." He died in 2021, at 72 years old, but his music remains.
But this particular song... I don't know what it has. It reaches a place in me that's hard to explain. It's the music that plays when you finally get over a love that hurt you, or when the sun comes out after a grey period in your head. The song has almost no lyrics, but it doesn't need them. It's pure feeling, carried by those synthesizers that are like warm waves. It's like seeing the brightness return to your eyes, like climbing out of a dark hole and finding yourself in a morning where the light itself feels like pure joy. It's that moment when the weight lifts and all that's left is a relieved breath.
Maybe Daniel Grau didn't write it with that in mind, but for me, that's what it is. It's as if the song hugs you and whispers, "It's over, calm down, breathe, smile and keep going." It's not just a musical track; it's a reminder that after the bad times, something good can always come, that a new day is waiting for you. That's the magic it holds for me—a wordless promise that a new dawn can always break. That's why I keep it, because sometimes you need to be reminded of that, and Daniel Grau does it without saying almost anything, just with that melody that says it all.

    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yusaymon/imfsothh

Hello to the wonderful Hive Open Mic family.
I want to share a song with you that is very special to me, just like this week's theme, #294. I prepared it with a lot of love, but I must confess there was a small obstacle: my guitar. It's missing a string, and living so close to the sea, the rust is slowly eating away at it. Even though I wiped it down carefully, the marks of the salt and humidity are stubborn.
But you know what? Those marks on my instrument aren't just signs of wear and tear; they are proof that music exists beyond perfect conditions. It's a reminder that what's important isn't having flawless tools, but having a heart willing to create. So, none of that stopped me. I decided to participate and sing this song with all my soul, with every bit of emotion I could gather in that moment, turning imperfection into part of the performance's essence.
I truly and deeply appreciate this space you provide for us to express ourselves through music. It's a refuge, a place where authenticity is worth more than polish. I sincerely hope I can continue to participate and share with all of you.
    I love you all.
