    ## 🎵 Eurodance Reimagined: An Acoustic-Electronic Experiment
**Eurodance has this special, timeless quality.** Recently, while listening to Paul Johnson's 'Get Get Down,' a creative curiosity hit me: **what would it sound like to translate the electrifying energy of this classic onto an acoustic guitar, layered with effects?** The challenge was set, and here I am, sharing the results of this fascinating experiment.
    ### 🎸 The Creative Process & Tools
This project became an exercise in music production using accessible yet powerful tools:
    - **Audacity**: For the initial guitar recording and applying first-layer modulation and delay effects.
    - **Drum Machine Software**: Essential for rebuilding those characteristic eurodance rhythms, providing the essential groove and backbone.
    - **BandLab**: As the final workstation to integrate all elements, mix, master, and give the track a professional polish.
**It's amazing how far music can travel when freed from genre labels.** This experiment isn't just about playing a song differently; it's about **reinterpreting the essence of an era with today's resources.**
    ### 🎚️ Technical Challenges
Like any creative process, it came with its hurdles. I'll admit **it bothers me a bit when the strings make those noises against the fretboard** — those fingertip slides that sometimes interrupt the sound's purity. However, I know it's something that can be refined with more practice and technique, as long as I don't stop... **which is the whole point, after all.** Imperfection is part of the journey.
    ### 📀 A Little Music Trivia
For context, 'Up & Down' is the 1998 Eurodance hit by the Dutch group Vengaboys that served as their international breakthrough. Co-written by Wessel van Diepen and Dennis van den Driesschen, the song was featured on their debut album 'Up & Down – The Party Album!' and became the key to their success across Europe and the United States, defining the sound of an era.

  • 1st Phase of the Song Challenge Music Zone ''Flotar Contigo'' Song by Y`$∆√~°-
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yusaymon/swbijebt
    _________
Some songs aren't just listened to; they are inhabited. And for me, "Quiero flotar contigo donde termina el mar" ("I want to float with you where the sea ends") is precisely that: a sonic space, a serene mantra that has been my refuge for years. It's not just a sequence of chords and a melody; it's an invitation to float literally in the vastness of the ocean, accompanied by the people who truly matter. But its deepest beauty lies in its central metaphor. Where does the sea end? It's not a geographical location, but a state of consciousness. It's the shoreline of the self, the exact point where the world's noise fades away and you reach that peak of absolute relaxation, a peace that can only be found in the company of others. I've always interpreted it as an intimate promise, whether directed at a profound love or the unbreakable complicity of close friends.
And to reach that state of grace, I take a singular path: my guitar. It's not just any instrument, not the impeccable guitar of a stage performer. My guitar is missing a string. That absence, far from being a limitation, has become the very essence of its character. In a world obsessed with perfection and complete equipment, this lame, sincere guitar brings me back to the elemental beginning of music. It forces me to be creative, to reinvent chords, to find harmonies in the empty spaces. Its sound is more intimate, more vulnerable, and because of that, infinitely more honest.
When I sing this song with it in my arms, the ritual is complete. The lack of that string is not a gap, but an active silence, a breath within the melody that reminds me that the essence isn't in what you have, but in how you use what is at your disposal. Strumming its five strings to sing "I want to float with you..." becomes an act of purity. It is to float in the sound itself, with all its imperfections, and to find that mental relaxation doesn't come from perfection, but from acceptance and adaptation.
That's why sharing this with you all today is something very special. It's sharing not just a song, but a philosophy. I hope that when you listen to it, you can also feel that raft of serenity, that invitation to float in your own inner waters, with your own "guitars of missing strings," and find the beauty in returning to the essential.
"Quiero flotar contigo donde termina el mar".

  • Hive Music Festival - Week N° 160 - Round 1 ''Carismatico -Babasonicos'' by Y`$∆√~°-
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yusaymon/fcjbwgcn

I heard that song on Halloween. The same one as always, but it didn't sound the same anymore. Or maybe it was me who no longer listened with the same ears. Musical memory is a funny little thing; we believe we remember a melody faithfully, until time proves that what we've kept is merely the ghost of a feeling.
And so it was, with that imperfect nostalgia in my ears, that I sat down and, almost without thinking, started changing some of its chords. It wasn't an act of rebellion, but one of affection. Like someone restoring an old piece of furniture, not to make it like new, but to honor the traces of time with the tools they have now. It wasn't about improving the original—who could?—but about starting a dialogue with it, asking it new questions and seeing how it responded.
The result, like everything human, comes with its errors and its successes in tow. It wasn't the whole song that turned out as I had imagined. That would have been a miracle, and miracles are boring. Magic, on the other hand, happens in the details: in that one single part, in that bridge or that chorus where, suddenly, everything clicked. Where the version in my head finally resonated in the real world. It's a fleeting moment, but it's enough. It's the confirmation that, despite the stumbles, **I hit the nail on the head of the creative idea**. That nail that holds up the painting of what you wanted to express.
And speaking of hitting the nail on the head... we have to quit sugar! Right? It's a whole thing here in Venezuela, a daily epic. Ha, ha. A creator's life isn't linear; it's full of these glorious and absurd interruptions.
With that same spirit of adaptation, I kept experimenting. In this case, I lowered the song's key. And then, over that new sonic landscape, darker and more personal, I recorded another vocal track. Not a lead vocal, but one that would serve as a bed, an atmosphere, for the original melody to lie down on and rest. It's in these layers that the song stops being a cover and becomes your own.
In the end, this process isn't about fidelity, but about honesty. Honesty to accept that you are no longer the same, to celebrate the fragments that *do* turn out well, and to keep experimenting, layer upon layer, until you find your own sound.
    **Thanks for listening.**

    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yusaymon/jduckubd
¡Queden atentos! La desevolución sonora apenas comienza.

    Hello everyone!
I'm here bringing a new piece - a highly personal and intentional version of "Empire of the Sun." This isn't just another project; it's the result of a creative experiment I want to share with you all.
I wanted to capture that nostalgic and warm essence of a bygone era, so I've dressed the track with a cassette tape effect, complete with that subtle analog tape hiss and slight pitch fluctuations that immediately transport us to another decade. Additionally, I've wrapped it in a glitch video aesthetic, with those distortion lines, unexpected flickers, and glitch art that gives the piece a unique and organic character.
Now, let's talk about the process, because here's where the madness begins. Is it anti-AI? In its essence and purpose, yes. I wanted something imperfect, human, and full of artistic decisions that an algorithm wouldn't make on its own. But, at the same time, it was AI-assisted. The paradox? It was like having an assistant in the studio to whom you'd say: "Hey, I want to do everything opposite to you - help me find a different path." And there it was, this tool, helping me break its own patterns. A surreal collaboration that leads us to an unpredictable result.
It's absolute madness that could easily be labeled as 2025 - a glimpse into how human creativity and artificial intelligence can collide to create something completely new.
I truly hope you enjoy this sonic and visual journey. We're still in the lab, with more ideas simmering on low heat. This is just the beginning; we're releasing the pieces, one by one, for what's coming to the Music Zone.
Stay tuned! The sonic revolution is just beginning.

    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yusaymon/plprqlmi

    ________
There's a truth in the creative act that goes beyond technical perfection, a spark born from the friction between intention and limitation. And it's precisely in that space where my perspective resides: I do NOT want the artificial intelligence to do it like me. I don't aspire to a clean, optimized replica of my voice or my ideas. My quest is a different one, more tactile, more human. I am deliberately drawn to the sound of the worn-out cassette, but the one with soul.
That cassette analogy isn't just an aesthetic nostalgia trip. It represents the warmth of the imperfect, the whisper of background noise as a witness to countless repetitions, the way the tape molds with use and preserves the ghost of every listen. It is the antithesis of the sterile, antiseptic coldness of a perfect digital file. It was within that environment that I finally enjoyed creating this song. You're finally having a good time with it, right? You can tell. There's a liberation in embracing limitations and turning them into style.
And yes, the AI assists me. It's a formidable tool, just another brush in the modern artist's studio. I use it for tasks, to generate textures, or to explore harmonic landscapes that elude me. But the core, the essence, the vital spark, has to be mine. I don't want the AI to do my things; let it do its own things. Let it compose its own algorithmic symphonies, let it explore its own emergent consciousness. But my expression, my personal catharsis, needs my trembling pulse, my instinctive decisions, even my happy accidents.
Maybe I'm saying all this from the viewpoint of an old man's crisis, I admit it. It's that little voice wondering if the art of the future will lose that "soul" in exchange for overwhelming efficiency. But, at the same time, it's a reaffirmation. Because in the end, I hope you like my "ruined" song. I sang it with a visceral, almost raw enthusiasm. I set up a drum machine with that mechanical yet groovy rhythm, and the rest of the magic happened inside that old-school sound software, emulating analog consoles and processors of yesteryear. This isn't a rejection of technology, but a deliberate choice for the technology that has character, that imbues the recording with a unique personality. This song is my little manifesto in melody: a reminder that art, at its core, is a human fingerprint—flawed, passionate, and utterly irreplaceable.

  • Hive Music Festival - Week N° 158 - Round 2 ''DEMONIOS'' Estopa by Y`$∆√~°- 🎃
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yusaymon/eejqnjkf

Today I caught myself humming "Demonios" by Estopa, as if my adolescence had whispered in my ear. That song that used to play over and over through my headphones, between school assignments and carefree nights, came back with a different meaning.
And now, with Halloween just around the corner, I’ve found myself playing it on the guitar almost instinctively. But it doesn’t sound the same anymore. Or maybe it does, but I’m not the same.
The devil is always portrayed as a horned monster with a trident, a figure that scares us in movies and costumes. But with time, I’ve come to understand something deeper: the real demons don’t live in hell—they live in the gray corners of our minds and our daily lives.
They’re those voices that tell us “you can’t,” the envy that eats away at us, the fear that paralyzes, the negativity that clouds the good moments… They’re all those things that, silently, pull us away from pure joy, mental health, and peace with who we are.
Estopa said it best: "Tengo demonios en el armario, salen cuando apago la luz..." 🎸
(“I have demons in the closet, they come out when I turn off the light…”)
And how true that is. We shouldn’t fear ghosts or legendary creatures. The real challenge is facing those inner shadows, those habits and thoughts that steal our light.
For me, this song is no longer just a melody from my youth. It’s a reminder that sometimes, to truly scare away the demons, we must turn on the light of awareness, open the door to honesty, and let the fresh air in.
So this Halloween, while some dress up as monsters, I’d rather play this song and remember that, in the end, the hardest demons to defeat are the ones we can’t see, but whose effects we feel every day.
A sound embrace to all. 🎃✨

  • Hive Open Mic 288 - I Smile - Kirk Franklin Gospel Song
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yusaymon/ffdqrurl
Hola, familia.

    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yusaymon/otfdjxjd
Era nuestro as bajo la manga.
JAJAJAJAJA
    ___________
I have to confess that I owe a lot to this song. It brings back memories of a time that, though tough, had its own magic. When I was traveling with the boys, playing wherever we could—sometimes in those noisy restaurants—this was the piece that always made people put down their cutlery and prick up their ears. It was incredible to see the atmosphere change; a special silence would fall, and you could tell they were truly connecting with it. On more than one occasion, it was thanks to that reaction from the crowd that we managed to scrape together enough for lunch and keep going. It was our ace up the sleeve.
And now, look, here I am, revisiting it but with a different vibe. I added new chords and a ton of effects, haha. I added so many that I even embarrassed myself! I could call this one... "the nervous version," yes, hahaha! Because it sounds agitated, out of control, more and more intense. It's as if the music itself is despairing, imitating that torrential rain that washed everything away when you left, Lolita. The same rain that fell on my heart and left it in puddles.
Lolita, LOL! That girl... wow! That whole mess left me shattered, crying in a corner like a starving stray cat, meowing for a scrap of love. She left me alone, with my soul full of those white hairs that come from sorrow... and here I am, still, meowing for an affection that's gone: meow, meow, meow... HAHAHAHAHA!
    Lyrics:
    Love
Easy now, I won't bother you
My fate was sealed, I already know
And I know there's a storm swirling in your mind
    Love
What we had was just chance
The same hour, the same boulevard
Don't worry, have no fear, I don't blame you for the past
    You see
    That's how life is
    You leave
    And I stay here
    It will rain
And I'll no longer be yours
    I'll be the cat
    Out in the rain
    And I'll meow for you
    Love
I know, really, don't say anything
If you see a tear, I'm sorry
I know you never meant to make a wounded cat cry
    Love
If we ever see each other out there
Buy me a coffee and make love to me
And if I never see you again, I hope you have good luck
    You see
    That's how life is
    You leave
    And I stay here
    It will rain
And I'll no longer be yours
    I'll be the cat
    Out in the rain
    You see
    That's how life is
    You leave
    And I stay here
    It will rain
And I'll no longer be yours
    I'll be the cat
    Out in the rain
    And I'll meow for you

This song, always, without fail, transports me. I close my eyes and I'm right there: on the bus heading to San Juan de los Morros, with that afternoon sun beating down hard on the window, or on that longer trip to Caracas. Those were introspective journeys, you know? Where the landscape turns into a movie and your thoughts become the soundtrack. It was right around one of those times that I discovered Eels.
It was because of a book I found in TecniCiencias—remember that store? It was a place that specialized in books, full of tall shelves and that smell of new paper that I loved. I would spend hours digging through the new arrivals. There, almost by chance, I came across the life story of Mark Oliver Everett, "Things the Grandchildren Should Know." And man, did it captivate me. The way he writes so rawly yet hopefully about his battles, his losses, and his way of finding beauty in what's broken... it hit me right in the soul. Ever since then, as an artist, his work has been a guiding light for me. There are days when I just go and listen to his entire albums, letting that mix of sadness and tenderness wash over me.
So, well, after having these songs spinning in my head for so long, I finally dared to sing this one. It's "Little Bird." It's undoubtedly a bit sad, one of those that hits you softly, but it's always stuck in your brain because the melody is so catchy. I tried to give it a real nostalgic vibe, like a worn-out cassette tape. Although, to be honest with you, I didn't quite get the exact sound I had in mind—my setup is pretty basic, you understand—I think I managed to add some really interesting noise, like a whisper from the past that fits the lyrics quite well. It was a happy accident, as they say.
Let me know in the comments if you liked this version and if you want more stuff like this, haha. Sometimes it's nerve-wracking to put out these personal covers. And well, huge thanks to Music Zone for all the technical support and patience, you guys are amazing. These days have been... interesting, to say the least. The internet troubles are the ultimate test of faith for an independent artist, you know the drill, the daily routine of us warriors who keep on fighting, creating despite the failing megabytes and the stuck renders. A big hug to everyone
