I'm back, y'all! I am so excited to be sharing with you again in this space. In this episode I share some reflections/affirmations from Psalm 139. Please bear with me as I ease back into recording, editing, and uploading episodes again. I am so excited for the year ahead, and I am looking forward to connecting with you all again. Episodes will still come out on Wednesdays. I'm late this week, but I wanted to make sure I get it out. Happy New Year! I hope it's met you with so much grace and great anticipation for all that God is working in and through you! Blessings! Xo!
On today's episode, I continue my conversation with RJ + Emily Vergara who have joined me to share with you all a very special project we've been working on. The Purpose collection goes live on Thursday, April 15th @6pm PST. The shop will close on Monday, April 19th @ Midnight PST. Make sure you're following me on instagram in order to see what the collection is about and to activate a reminder to shop the collection. Anyway, listen in to part two where we talk about the last two designs to hear the heart behind the collection itself as well as the design aspects.

It's been two weeks since I've posted, and I really wanted to make sure not to miss another week even though I am completely TIRED. LOL! This podcast could end up being a complete train wreck, but I do hope you enjoy the update and find even the tiniest bit of encouragement. I am truly unplugged in this episode. LOL!

Hey guys! On today's episode, I have invited Codie, co-founder of Black Love + director of the Black Love Docuseries, to answer the following three questions: [1] Who/What did you want to be when you grow up? [2] Who are you now? [3] Who do you want to be when you "grow up?" I love so much of what she had to share, and I even learned quite a bit more than what I knew about her. Listen in as she reminds us to have grace with ourselves. Happy Hump Day, y'all!

Is there someone in your life that just beams with joy no matter what?! Well, on today's episode of Yvette, Unplugged I welcome my #WCW, Brandi, to share how she cultivates joy in her life. When I think of this woman I think of pure, genuine, authentic JOY... You know the song that says. "This joy that I have... the world didn't give it to me. The world didn't give it... and the world can't take it away..." When/If Brandi sings it, I'd believe her! LOL! She is a beautiful soul inside and out, and I cannot wait for you guys to get to know her a little more while listening to this episode. Whether or not you're a mom, I think it's safe to say many of us have an ideal of what makes a "good" or "perfect" mom based on our own experiences with our mom, being a mom and/or observing motherhood in others. In this episode, I sit down with Shayla (@junkdrawermom) to discuss what she calls "Perfect Mom Syndrome," and how she suggests we remedy it. I love this woman, and I believe you all will grow fond of her as well!
