While Gonzaga dropped out of the AP poll last week but improved from 19 to 16 in the NET rankings , despite only playing one game against a low-ranked opponent. The team had a challenging week with tough practices and player meetings to address recent losses. In GU's game against Portland, Gonzaga made lineup changes, starting Emmanuel Innocenti and Braden Huff, which resulted in a 43-point win.
